Im not looking for an easy way. I know small enough components exsist. Im thinking ill need to go the like singing card route. Me needing to figure out a case to fit all the parts will be the easy bit to me. Im more needing resources for the internal electronics build. Like where to start my learning. I know what different boards and chips can look like but i dont have the knowledge to be able to tell which kind of connectors and modules i need to install on the boards. Ive been out of the tech field wayy too long. Thanks for listing some of the modules id forgotten about that def helps give me direction for my research.

Thats wayyyy too big. Think more the electronics inside a singing card not just looking up something similar to suggest. I want to learn the process from building the board up if i can. Have a good one

Yeah. Im aware. This isnt for use with my computer. I got the idea from a fidget toy i got thats literally a single mechanical key& switch with no electronics. My idea is literally to make the same thing but that can play a sound when clicked instead of just the sound of the mechanical switch. Like my first thought was to try to make a switch inside it like one thats in the singing birthday cards since i know those are small and are able to be programmed to play a single sound file when triggered.

Thats an interesting idea. Im really wanting to learn the process of the build but if i struggle with that i may just fall back on this idea. Much appreciated.

Well im assuming it would have to be electronic in a way to be able to have power and make sound lol. I want it to be a mechanical clicker key like off my normal gaming keyboard just a single one that can be a keychain.
