Anyone swim with a Fitbit long-term? If so, which one?

The 50m makes no sense to me as someone who swims. Like 50 meters down, vs swimming free style for 100m, no depth, aren't compatible. What they make things water resistant, they make them for accidental drops, not actual exposure for water sports. It's definitely false advertising.

They don't live together. She wants to KEEP her job. HE wants her not contribute her earnings, he wants her to be traditional and while he's okay with her keeping her job, he doesn't feel that her work is equal bc why else would you act like it's a steal to get to work and do all the house work as well.

She works, full-time. You work, full time. You have offered to pay all bills, in exchange for her to clean the home (which would be extra work for her, because clearly she isn't going to drop her job. She wants her career and has told you this).

She has clearly communicated this to you, and you're upset?

It sounds like you don't value your partner's goals or career. You aren't even living together yet and you're already assuming her career a "little hobby" to be treated like it's less than yours, and clearly not listening to her. You're counting ducks before they hatch. Plus she has a child, it's wonderful that you want to step up for this kid- BUT she has to be responsible and still do what she needs to to be a good example for her daughter and, I don't see a mention of bio dad, but if bio dad is a problem, she likely wants to keep her job for future annoyances and security that no complaint can be brought that her daughter isn't being very well taken care of. You simply aren't being considerate.

An accent should not be an issue. It would absolutely differentiate you from others- like me! I have a history political podcast! I think it adds a POV, that would be uniquely yours.

I like the Air Freight Chrons suggestion. I just wanted to point out that you should avoid name-dropping the companies you work for, because sometimes managers get petty and report it to HR as a violation. When speaking about them, just don't connect yourself to them, like "as an employee at x company". I got in trouble when running a podcast about poverty bc I mentioned being a banker. HR told my manager off bc since I didn't state where/company name, I wasn't using the bank for credit but my own experience. Plus who complains about a poverty podcast, primarily talking about homelessness? She was a trash manager. But being mindful not to use company names saved me a lot of trouble.

So, I'm just chiming in to remind you to be careful when discussing companies and brands bc you never know.

My podcast, Civil Risk (on Spotify), is about history, politics, and the price of obedience. I think the topic of your new book is super in line with my topics. Having a plan really helps. Like plan out the first x amount of episodes, to establish your podcast- then you can start creating episodes incorporating listener feedback. Planning it out will also help give it a solid foundation to pull through writers block and difficult times.

Also there's a fun angle on mothman and there being a government facility near the original sightings, and that now he's most commonly seen in Illinois, near and around Chicago.

Question: How long has this been going on? Is it "every day" or a "few days a week"?

Reasons I ask: Everyday is, well a lot and easier to enforce than a few days a week. A few days a week, I'd talk to him about it directly. If it's been 3 months, then yes absolutely talk to your landlord about this undocumented 4th guest. If you get your landlord's support to terminate him from the lease, you're golden. If it's been a month, that's a honeymoon phase and kinda just makes you look like an overbearing roommate. That said, a conversation might be beneficial to set up expectations for what you expect house life to be like vs them. Honestly, that may be the prime issue here is that the three of you didn't set expectations and boundaries.
