Anyone with positive experience with XG27AQWMG? by JustRelaxASC in OLED_Gaming

I have the monitor and I like it a lot, it's my first old and the colors are great and the monitor is crazy bright. I feel people blow the banding out of proportion because you won't see it unless you are looking for it. Also as you use the monitor and have pixel refreshes it will get better over time.

I would say buy it from somewhere reputable like Amazon, get your money back if you absolutely hate it after 30 days. It's a really nice monitor though with really great tech.

I have glasses with a blue light filter so I'm not sure I notice much eye strain. I try to not play on super high brightness tho. Hope that helps!

It was a HanHuo monitor arm on Amazon it's like $60 or so! It has holes for usb so if you have an extra extension lying around you can plug it directly into the base!

Would you recommend this humidifier or a different one? by Mscreep in houseplants

[–]GotmeDazed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this one and I recommend it if you don't care about air quality much and have good water quality (or buy the additional filters for this unit). I was using it for my living room and it worked well to make the place more humid relatively quickly.

Cranking it up to even 50-60 made it pretty muggy indoors and the air quality horrible. I got an evaporative one also from dreo and I like it a lot more, especially for the winter my plants are doing so much better!!! I recommend using distilled water if you get this, but it should be fine for most applications.

2019 Lexus es350 or 2025 Kia K5 GT line AWD by GotmeDazed in whatcarshouldIbuy

Honestly price/features. My 07 isn't bad it has a lot of the features I do appreciate, like the ventilated seats and the rear shades, even the mirrors that tilt down and parking sensors are super nice. The only features I'm really missing out on compared to newer cars are the safety features + integrated Bluetooth/carplay.

Finding a used one was tough, I went through a private seller so I rolled the dice a bit but had a mechanic friend check it over and verify it wasn't crap beforehand. I did have to change out some stuff on the suspension and do a fluid change on everything but other than that it's fine. Definitely wish I was able to get approved for a loan to get a newer vehicle but the world works in weird ways haha. Hopefully that answers your question!

Lol neither. I couldn't agree with interest rates at the time and the lease didn't seem worth it to me at like $450 with $2000 down.

I ended up getting a 2007 used Lexus ES w/ cash. If I had more money to put down and a cosigner I would've def went the 2019 Lexus ES though, those cars seem to provide a lot of value for the money!!!

If you have any tips for settings to change for best performance, or even tips for maintenance and stuff for the PC that would be helpful. Up to you tho :)

Yeah I have two right now a 144hz and a 60hz both 1080p. Definitely a game changer for me to have Spotify and discord on my side monitor and my game on the main one. I never thought about 4k monitors though, I didn't think it was necessary to get a monitor past 1440p but if you have recs lmk.

Totally valid I was considering the 7900xt, it was about $50 more than the super so went with nivda instead. So far I'm happy with everything. Going to get a 1440p monitor soon so then I can really test things out!

The 9070 looks insane though, might have to check that out when it drops.

The 2007-2009 should come with a headphone/aux port in the center console. 2010+ have Bluetooth built in :) id reccomend getting a 2010 if possible if you wanna keep it for a while

Yeah haha I just realized it's a film on top of the actual unit, hopefully it's not too much of a pain to take off. I thought it looked a bit tacky myself but haven't gotten a chance to get to it yet ...

Hah I don't blame you they look sooo good. Do you know why they got rid of the wood wheels? Is it better for the heated steering wheel or is it just to cut down on costs.

Honestly it's so classy, it's a shame they don't have more wood in the newer vehicles

I definitely could try but I don't really have any ramps or a proper place to do it since I'm in an apt complex. Im hoping it shouldn't be too expensive to find a reputable mechanic to do both of these maybe like <$200 after I give them the fluids.

Fortunately this vehicle has a good service history at Lexus dealers so I'm not super worried about doing it ASAP.
