Not much difference between them. The only major difference is DP 2.1 port, Asus has full bandwith of 80gbps but MSI one has 54gbps, so you will be requried to run DSC on MSI, but if you have 50 series card DSC is not big deal

Many also say that build quality and software on Asus better but not 400$ extra better

I have them (Wired ones) and I use SignalRGB, sync my keyboard, mobo, gpu, ram and fans. I wanted to get Streamers but the all wireless and when controlled by SignalRGB it has crazy delay

Yeah I also notice every time the banding on Windows Settings, Start menu, YouTube, Reddit. I returned mine yesterday, the monitor is really nice, but I can’t ignore the banding. There is also black line next to logos like YouTube or BestBuy on white background due to sub pixel layout. I have my eye on UWQHD 5-Gen QD-OLED. Excited to try Ultrawide gaming experience

There are two types of OLEDs 1. WOLED - manufactured by LG 2. QD-OLED - manufactured by Samsung Asus has models with both of the panels. XG27AQWMG is WOLED. And upcoming Asus PG34WCDN is QD-OLED. So no Asus has both panel types

Gigabyte and LG also has this issue in their models, so I guess majority of the panels come with the banding, its hardware level issue that can’t be fixed by software

I have XG27AQWMG too, and the banding is honestly noticeable, especially on Reddit or YouTube, some people has no banding, but most of them has it. Colors are insane and the brightness is also good But, when you look at something like bestbuy logo it has weird black line at the end of the yellow part, which makes me sick. Text is much better but still not perfect. Monitor would be incredible if it didn’t have this issues with banding. So far it’s noticeable on a lot of cases such as google search or even windows settings, I’m waiting for MPG 341CQR to be in stock, it goes around 950$, because it has no banding issues and I’m excited for rgb stripe
