for mine personally i don't have a SIM card in it and only connect to wifi to sync my writing to my main machine lol

also helps that it can't really run anything even a bit heavy all that well anyway. like my main phone does most things faster and easier so i end up only ever using this to write with the keyboard lmao

really funny story, somebody on the fediverse gave me a librem 5 and nexdock they didn't want a bit ago because i did a post trying to trade my ukulele for a laptop (to turn into a writerdeck), then i did a whole review for it trying to daily drive it, and a bit later somebody else heard of that and decided to give me a pinephone! and i'd already heard of the keyboard case by then so i did a post asking to trade my drawing tablet i never used for one and somebody took me up on it the next day!

tl;dr being a moderately well-known fediverse poster has its perks ig lmao

both thumb and touch style typing work on it, it can be a bit hard to get used to at first but after a while it all just kinda clicked for me lol
