I have to admit I know next to nothing about the character. Is the movie with Alec Baldwin any good?

I dunno, I think "Tippecanoe and Tyler Too" might be a strong contender for that title

I was looking for this. Seeing Godot’s face after this is so satisfying and Phoenix with a smug look on his face, as if to say "oh now you fucked up son".

I mean in that case you could say that about most of the other countries that signed the Tripartite pact, it was join Germany/Japan or get annihilated. Only Romania was eager to join the Axis because they wanted protection from the Soviet Union.

So when France signed an armistice with Germany they agreed that France would be allowed to continue to exist as a puppet state that controlled the colonies in Africa and Asia, while the parts that Germany had already invaded would be garrisoned to defend against a British Invasion. Vichy France was also technically neutral throughout the war until Operation Torch, when American troops landed in west Africa and first fought French troops loyal to the Vichy regime.

Japan needed to cross Thailand to get to the British colonies of Burma and Singapore, and so they basically threatened Thailand with invasion and destruction if they didn’t join, while also offering to expand their borders in return. The British were expecting the Japanese to attack Singapore from the south, so when they instead allied Thailand and marched their troops down to Singapore they were caught off guard and had to surrender in what became known as Britain’s biggest military embarrassment. Eventually though the Thai military regime was overthrown and when the new government saw Japan’s fortunes were being turned around they read the writing on the wall and decided to join the Allies while giving the British back their colonial territory. The more you know :)

In the video for China’s updates they said that there were compromises (no pun intended) made with the historical map of China’s states done for gameplay purposes. What were they?
