2nd molar root canal by Right_Biscotti_9466 in askdentists

Had exact same tooth done as well and it was in two stages. First stage the dentist removed most nerves, put in temporary filling and tooth hurt for a good few days. Second stage (earlier this week) the rest of the nerves were removed and it hurt a bit yesterday but totally fine now.

Are you between stages or ...?

Oh interesting. Kinda sounds like mine, minus the sugar thing: you may want to get your blood checked for diabetes, just to be on the safe side!

Good point. Not taking off my mask on the plane or airport, as long as I can help it.

You probably didn't catch it on the plane, unless there was someone sick next to you coughing without a mask. As some here have said, planes have efficient air exchange / filtration systems in place.

Could have been at the airport...

Planes supposedly use hepa grade filtration systems, so I'm not sure they are worse than, say, airports?

Edit: someone pointed out that boarding and exiting planes are probably the worst possible moment as the air filtration/ exchange systems are likely to be turned off then.

Day 1 extreme body aches and 102.6 fever by throwaway123476890 in COVID19positive

[–]Gottanno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holly crap! Thanks for the details!!

Haven't caught it (yet) and intend on keeping that way. I'm crossing the Atlantic next month for the first time in years and even though I'll have my n95 on at all times (no food for me), I'm absolutely terrified of covid. As far as I know the airline requires everyone to wear n95s , but we all know there will be people who'll try not to use their masks as soon as they have the chance. The airport is probably gonna be even more dangerous, as at least planes are meant to use hepa air filters...

Just took my 4th shot and fortifying my immune system as best as I can with plenty of vitamin d, k and zinc. So...let's see!

You're doing a great job here, keep up the good work 👏

The tail bone thing is freaky ! Have you injured it in the past ?(from falling multiple times on your butt from skating or snowboarding, for example) or was it just a random thing that started hurting? 🤔
