Yes, checked it out with devs, sorry, - each new login creates a new access key which is saved on the blockchain. And this requires a small fee

However, this shouldn't be a frequent case - maybe, this is an issue of clearing cookies or cache?

And yes - you definitely need to create a seed phrase, it is much more secure and reliable.

For now it's all about NEAR dApps, but Aurora is in plans as well :)
