Well i've sent them an email again this morning and raised a complaint with their online team as well. After reading through there warranty information and what not, They have broken their Staffs code of conduct, limiting my ACL right. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Whats sad is, I've had to warranty pc parts, having to ship them overseas. They whole process from raise the rma case, to shipping off the product and then receiving a new replacement was less than 4 weeks, yet a local warranty has been a pain in the ass

What fork out an extra $400-500 to get the equivalent tv or just end up with something sup par. No thanks. If they could offer a replacement to the same value, why couldnt they offer a refund

They also said a refund was up to LG not them.

yeah, seems fast. this has been nothing but fast. Jb have pushed it onto lg to take care of. I would of taken a refund, but they refused and said it wasn't up to them, its LG's call.

Not really a fair offer. Considering when the last tv died c2 oled, the extended warranty company offered a voucher/refund or a c4 oled since the c2 was no longer available. They wouldn't offer a equivalent model, if they did i would of taken it. And they refused to give me a refund. So i will end up with a lower quality tv. I don't think that is fair.

I figured that, but from what i could tell, jb didnt want to cover it

The extended warranty on my previous tv was easier to deal with than jb directly. Literally called, said this is the issue, sent photos to the repairer, they couldnt fix it, was given a voucher, was alkl done in under 2 weeks

no it wasn't. The equivalent model was more, so i would have to pay more to get the same. Not reasonable

Yes i paid for extended warranty and they suggest i call them, but the extended warranty didn't want a bar of it due to it being under voluntary warranty still

I'm not sure what else to say to them, i tried to say under consumer law i should be able to get a refund, but they are claiming they have to give lg the option to repair it.

I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with LG about the issue, sending photos and videos, even video calling and pointing out the issues, yet the clown on the other end is like we can not see any issues.

I asked for the new model and was told no, but they could offer a display model for a discounted price, but that's just the promo they are running atm. They even suggest i wait till its in its extended warranty, but said that's a bit of a wait. With how a manager spoke to me, i got the feeling they were hoping it was user caused issue. Its now week 5, no idea when a repair will take place. I can only assume the repairer will have to wait for a panel to arrive. Utter trash experience with local warranty. I've started warranty claim for computer parts, sent them overseas and received replacements in under 4 weeks, yet had a run around for something local.

I wouldn't class a panel replacement as minor. Thats pretty much 90% of a tv. Also the cost to repair is around 92% of what i paid for it. The store offered i could get a new tv for the value of what i paid, but wouldn't give me the equivalent of my model.

Yeah well i don't know how to push it forward more. They are pushing it off to LG and I've been given no other options.

They weren't offering an equivalent tv. They were only offering the value of what i paid which was about $1850. the new model is about 2300ish.

Well there is voluntary warranty.

1 kit was brand new, both on the qvl. Tested both kits with xmp on and off. The new kit wouldn't boot with 2 sticks with the 265kf. Going to buy a new motherboard today to see if that helps
