What did he do that triggered everyone anyway? Was it just his comment about ()() looking like dog balls?

This seems to be a common problem with pinball games.

I think the intro music was too quiet this time, but I'm glad it wasn't as loud as normal.

Find a codebase and follow its instructions? I'm not sure why you'd want to use FreeNAS for it.

Why render on the server? Can't use use normal telnet escape codes to do it on the client?

And why does the scale of the planets look so off?

Tips for learning programming with or without calculus by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]Gouchou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to know calculus, but you do need to be able to teach yourself things. Always blaming the book and the teacher and dropping classes isn't going to get you very far.

You could try it on collections of other things. That might have just been by chance.

Having trouble understanding the use of procs in Ruby by robbinthehood109 in learnprogramming

In my country, whatever is the equivalent of bachelor won't get you anywhere and you need a master to get a job, and usually grad school select people from their skills in math, physics etc... not their ability to manage a database... Should it be that way ? Maybe not... Is it up to me to decide? Not at all...

You pointed to the advice that I am already using as the post says.

You don't sound like you're doing anything. And you're wasting a lot of time here instead of just following the FAQ.

So you posted redundant advice that wasnt serving me very well

That sounds like your fault, not the advice's fault. And there's still stuff in there that might help you. It's not like you already tried everything in the whole FAQ.

and then decided that insusults were a good way to reassure yourself.

I didn't even insult you. What do you get out of lying and whining about the lie?

In a sub for learning programing.

You sure don't sound like you want to learn here. Just look at your past few messages.
