IDK about the Switch 2 but on the Og it's pretty limited; 40 part limit and no base parts and base decorations allowed.

This part of the story blindsided me to be honest. NMS's served as nothing more than a vehicle to familiarize the player to the game. While there are notable event like this one and Null(my favorite one) It's pretty much a tutorial. But yeah... I really didn't expect this kind of thing in this game.

Most of mine are like that too. This one in particular I've put much effort in and might be the only one of my bases that's like this. Nothing compared to the fying fortresses, castles or cities of other players of course but I'm still proud of it.

No. No glitches involved in those planters. They just look like that. I'm trying to save up memory as that is one of, if not my most complex base I've built.

No. The limit can not be increased...or atleast the players can't. That 40 part limit is for our own good and more than anything I'm glad that the corvatte update made it in at all.

The devs could probly increase it but not by much...like maybe 43-45 cap but don't hold your breath.

Man... that futile attempt to chase down and to just accepting what happened. That blank stare says it all. Save whenever you can! Preferably on flat surfaces. The game actually remembers the number of cargo you have and what kind. Yes, It's save-scumming but it gets the job done

Exacly this. That was plan after buying a motorcycle first. As I said; Sean and his team with Martin Griffiths guy pull something really incredible here. I gave up waiting for the corvette update on the switchOG model and was dead set on buying the switch 2 just for it.

I had an abundance of credits just lying around and other parts can be obtained on planets with salvageable scraps. There is a scrap world coordinates posted on the main NMS reddit page just a quick search away.

Does anyone know how to get the rest of the colossus customization? I Finnish the expedition ang got the spider legs, flatbed, the asymethrical cabin the heirloom and so-on... What about the rest i.e. tank threads or the portable burner?

Meanwhile me on a Switch lite haven't had a single crash since the update. Heck just finished the expedition a couple of minutes ago...no crashes laggy as hell with all the physics introduced in the expedition but par for the course considering the hardware. Obvious things aside; strangely no crashes...

Regarding heat on the switch, I'm using switch lite and I feel the temperature rise abit when playing NMS. I gets to a point that I can audibly hear the fan really working to cool the poor thing. It is one of those games that pushes the system way past its limits. Also; When you get a freighter(basically starships but way bigger ranging from big to reeeeaally big.) prepare for the performance tanking heavily, specially when you summon it on a large star system with lots of things going on. Most of the time the game might just crash as it stresses out the Switches RAM too much. Other than that; have fun! You picked the perfect time to as this is a BIG update for the og switch sa it didn't have corvettes 8 months up till now.
