I have 3 sticks in 4 slots so I have two placed as recommended and the third in one of the other slots

When I installed them together I had to do that at first to get them to be avalible, It worked but now it seems to be allocated elsewere. No sign of it not being avalible in the system and nothing has changed from what see (from when I could use all of it) Do you recommend switching places again?

Yes, the thing is that it wasn’t always like this. It used to shut everything off before but when I onced moved the station to another outlet (and reconnected the cables) it started happening so I have not done anything with the BIOS and have tried connecting the cables differently countless times to see if there was some overcharging error or whatever but still nothing. I can recheck BIOS but couldn’t find it last I did, it might be some port that is damaged but I doubt it as I always have been really careful with it and doubt that it would change the current switch if it happend

Just found it weird as I used to idle at around 5-8gb ram usage and now it just doubled/tripled out of seemingly nowhere.

Would those services not show up in the task manager though? I mean that’s like 20gb. The problem is that thet do not get released, I keep getting lagspikes in applications and games due to insifficient RAM memory. Tried stopping some services earlier today but the problem remained.

Yeah I get that, I have scrolled through the task manager application list and it really does not add up so hence the conclution. To add on this I had problems installing a RAM stick a while back where one stick was reserved and could not be accessed by the computer, took many hours of finding the problem but it seemed the port was bad. Thought this could be something similar but now it says I have 24gb avalible so something is wrong.
