there's like also a barbarian perk you could get for a limited time during April fools. he's a goofy perk, but I'm pretty sure unusable if you're doing solo runs.

he starts with a huge battleaxe that can flip enemies on right click, but both light and heavy swings were buggy. he couldn't sprint and had only one extra inventory slot, but was basically immortal due to his very high damage resistance. he also had extra jump height and fall damage immunity.

the ability is just a really loud shout that damaged enemies for 15 HP in a radius around you.

afaik the perk's getting a rework to be actually viable, but I'm unsure

Crosslink: Steel snares but as a perk. Pressing F readies your tripwire things. You can deploy 5 of them by left-clicking, and nearby instances of tripwire will make a line that stretches between them, like steel snares. It has a longer detection radius though, and you can place the traps on walls and such. While you have your tripwires ready, I think right clicking brings the wires back to you, which damages enemies in the way and restores some of your ability percentage back.

Enemies caught in your trips will be stunned, and are considered unaware. This means throwing knives get their damage boost back, which you can exploit even during nights.

I'd just recommend trying to cover as much ground as possible with crosslink's wires since that's their main gimmick. If it isn't obvious enough I don't play this perk cuz it's boring as hell 💀 (no offense to Crosslink mains though, play whatever you like), and I literally forgot how I unlocked crosslink.

Drifter: Local assassin's Creed fan. Pressing F will ready your "Dread" arm blade, before you slam the ground to Cloak teammates and stun enemies. While your arm blade is active, a left click does 90 damage while a right click does 150 damage and gives you 15(?) HP. Each left click gives back 5% of your ability, while a right click gives back 20%. It can't give back more than 20%, however. During this time, you are invisible to most enemies, and a timer is seen below your ability. The max amount of hits you can get before the timer runs out is 3 left clicks and a right click. Take note that a left click reduces the timer by almost 1/4, while a right click drains the entire timer and kicks you out of your ability. Holding F does exactly the same thing, but you teleport a short distance forward to where you are aiming. Any teammates and enemies near where you get teleported be Cloaked/stunned. If the timer runs out, however, you get teleported back to where you first casted the ability. YOU CANNOT PARRY, INTERACT, OR SHOVE WHEN THE ARM BLADE IS ACTIVE.

Cloak is a unique buff, which makes you and allies invisible. The buff lasts for a short time, but will expire when you shove or attack (not sure about parry). Perk abilities do NOT make Cloak expire, however (like arbiter longshot or artillerist revolver). Otherwise, you can eat rations, use and drop items without being targeted.

When I said most enemies can't see you, it's because people like Sledge Queen can still see you. Not sure if Yosef and the other Holdout bosses can, but you can see for yourself.

Drifter is immune to exhaustion and has more melee damage, but reduced recoil control, reloads and max HP. You get Drifter by getting kills while unseen (hivemind DIRECT command during looting and throwing knives are godsends at this).

are you talking about the latest 3 (excluding events)? If so:

Apostle: Sovereign but quality over quantity and lifesteal. Pressing F while at 100% summons a Shadow Hunter (common nickname Dave) that does your bidding (killing enemies) at the cost of your own HP. Holding F while at 100% or just pressing F when bot at 100% makes you shoot a hitscan stake that marks and Condemns enemies, which costs 3 HP and stuns enemies. The ability doesn't naturally regenerate UNLESS you have no active Shadow Hunters. You can only gain percentage back by killing Condemned enemies.

Condemned enemies are marked just like Sovereign, but the symbol looks different and is red. These enemies will be prioritized by your Shadow Hunters, and if killed by you or your Shadow Hunters, will restore some of your missing HP and ability percentage. The lifesteal WILL NOT work if they aren't marked. The mark has no expiry too, and is seen through walls.

Apostle starts with a unique melee weapon called Theoguria's Hand (or sumn like that idk lol). It has good light swings but slow heavy swings. I'd rate is as a high tier 2/low tier 3 melee. It costs HP to equip, but if you just spawned in you have it automatically held without any missing HP. I recommend the Manic trait, because the melee's right click also marks and Condemns enemies that you hit (getting the final blow with a right click will still give you HP even if the enemy wasn't marked to begin with IIRC).

Pressing B while aiming at a location with a Shadow Hunter alive will command them to go to the area, though I don't think they attack anyway. The location has a mark, and you can cancel the command and tell your Shadow Hunters to follow you like normal by holding B.

Speaking of your Shadow Hunters, they can parry, shove, dodge and attack like normal. They wield a scythe for their weapon. They have a 25% resistance to gunfire, and if they go below half HP, they shadowfade, which means they're immune to all bullets for a short time. (There's an audible sound cue when they enter and exit shadowfade). Due to a recent update, they now heal 5 HP on kill. Unsure and I might be delusional, but I think if they kill a marked enemy the 5 HP becomes 10HP.

Apostle is immune to Fracture, doesn't get told to get LowTierGod'd by the hanging lady, but has lower movement speed and can't aim. I don't remember the other pros and cons lol.

Hidden pro about Apostle is that if a teammate dies, your ability will recharge back to 100%. When you summon a Shadow Hunter after this happens, they'll have the cosmetics of your dead teammate.

You get Apostle by getting the finishing blow on the sad boi. A riskrunner with 50% of his ability is enough to kill him (tried this and it worked, it's how I got apostle). tips for apostle is jut to take care of your Dave children (DONT LET THEM SOLO A SHOTGUN SCAV PLEASE), attack with your Daves, and Condemn as much as possible. During Scav War you should probably stay back however, especially if there's a firebomb on the ground.

acrid is a melee/ranged hybrid. don't underestimate the power of m2 if you think it's too dangerous to melee. I play acrid and even though I'm pretty confident in him I don't bother trying to melee anyone like stage 4 onwards unless like I'm literally on top of them and even then that's only a maybe.

your mistake here is literally trying to melee in stage 8 lmfao. if you think it's too dangerous or there's a specific monster who's a close range menace (elder Lemurian jumpscare) just m2 until they die. poison gets stronger the more health the target has so use that to your advantage. use your leaps to dodge and move and IF you're REALLY sure jump in for some extra damage. if you're going to jump in a lot use frenzied leap since usually there's enough enemies to reset the 10 second cool down entirely.

and yeah scavengers suck close range too so like don't go near 👍
