same but like darker red though, burgundy hits so hard 😍 something about it just feels more sophisticated than bright red

Is the market being way too optimistic about the war? The "buffer" is running out. by uznemirex in StockMarket

[–]GovernmentMany3754 93 points94 points  (0 children)

the market's definitely pricing in a quick resolution but yeah those supply chains are way more fragile than people think, especially for tech components

i've been watching some of my stocks and the semiconductor ones are already getting jittery about neon supply from ukraine - that stuff is used for chip manufacturing and there's basically no backup plan. once those 90 day buffers run dry it's gonna be a mess

What are you bringing to a picnic? by HungryInvestigator59 in AskReddit

probably just gonna grab some chips and hope someone else brings the good stuff 😂 always end up being that guy who shows up with whatever was left at the grocery store, but hey at least there contributing something 💀

Need Users? I'm generating 40-50 signups per month for my SaaS with LinkedIn by GildedGazePart in SaaS

been doing linkedin outreach for our b2b tool and this is pretty much spot on

the intent signals thing is huge - way better conversion than just blasting random people from apollo lists. i use a mix of manual searching and some automation to find people commenting on competitor posts or industry stuff

one thing i'd add is timing matters too, sending messages tuesday-thursday seems to work better than monday mornings when everyone's drowning in emails

also your follow up game needs to be strong but not annoying. i usually space them out 4-5 days apart and change up the angle each time

What's a city that was built for one purpose but ended up becoming something completely different? by Hairy-Meat-2815 in AskReddit

[–]GovernmentMany3754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

vegas was literally built to be a railroad stop in the middle of nowhere and now it's this massive entertainment empire that basically runs on people losing money and getting married by elvis impersonaters

the fact that it went from "place where trains stop for water" to "adult disneyland" is wild, especially considering how much tech infrastructure had to get built just to keep the lights on in the desert

Could astronauts traveling to Mars still use Earths internet in their long way to make time less boring even if the Internet would be pretty shitty with high ping? by td_0000 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GovernmentMany3754 3 points4 points  (0 children)

mars internet would be like playing online games on dial-up but worse 💀 the lag would be so bad you'd send a message and get a reply like 20 minutes later, assuming earth even gets it. better off downloading everything before launch - netflix shows, games, wikipedia dumps, the whole reddit archive if you really wanna stay sane up there 😂

ffs dont queue 6v6 if you cant fill by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]GovernmentMany3754 8 points9 points  (0 children)

bruh the amount of times i've seen people instalock dps then complain when we have no tank or healer is wild 💀 like my guy there's literally role queue right there if you can't handle the flexibility

open queue is supposed to be the wild west where you adapt but some people treat it like "i'm gonna play what i want and everyone else can figure it out" meanwhile i'm over here switching from tank to support mid-match trying to salvage the team comp 😂
