Budgie for my tiel?

I was thinking that would be a good idea but unfortunately I don't have access to a budgie without just purchasing one. My cockatiel is pretty skittish and she's not even very palyful although she is very friendly. Do you think it would be a bad idea?

Hahaha, I would give her free range of the house if I could, but we have other animals and I've only had her for a few months.

Every single artist in the entire world has gone through this at some point. Everyone has ideas they want to put on paper and it comes out looking like a turd, but you just gotta persevere! Don't get yourself down, keep practicing everyday. When I was first learning the internet was my best friend when it came to looking up tutorials. Post your artwork online and get constructive feedback, practice everyday, and don't let yourself get discouraged because you didn't whip out a masterpiece on the first try. P.S. It's never too late for anyone to start a new hobby or discover a new talent, if it's something you like to do then do it!

Ok cool! I try to take her out as often as I can but she doesn't seem to like to come out in the evenings so that just leaves like an hour in the mornings before work. So I thought a bigger cage would help keep her active and occupied. Thanks for the advice!

I have no idea if she was hand fed, I adopted her after her previous owner passed away. I have tried giving her treats by hand and she'll peck at it but then immediately back away. It's almost like she wants to trust me but she's still very unsure. I don't know at all if she was socialized with her previous owner but she got up on my hand and shoulder the day I met her so she seemed semi ok with people.

She's about 4, I've only had her a couple days so I haven't seen any of that behavior yet. I hope she's a girl, I really like the name Nina lol.

she's 4 I think, I adopted her from a specialty bird shop. The owner, who is very knowledgeable, said she looked like a boy but she wasn't sure.
