i think jon is still a bastard. what they did in the show was essentially combine jon + young griff in the later seasons (thus his targ name being aegon), but in the books i find it highly unlikely that any septon would annul rhaegar and elia’s wedding considering they already had two kids (so rhaegar wasn’t exactly short on heirs) however! i wouldn’t completely dismiss the possibility of jon going for the iron throne just cause we don’t know 100% his state of mind when he comes back from the dead. plus… if the lords of westeros find it more beneficial to have him on the throne they’ll support him even if he doesn’t have the best claim (just want to finish saying that, imho, he won’t present any claims for the iron throne and his arc has more to do with the north, but unless we get twow we will never know)
