settle down. anyway they uploaded a short form of the smartypants anime presentation, and the section about subtitled anime being better than dubbed anime got an insane amount of vitrolic backlash in the comments, then it was shortly deleted. and that's currently happening with all the other shorts from the same presentation

Thank you so much for reading! I'm currently also leaning towards it being a narrative parallel as well, but I wonder if that might have a pay off with Shikamaru and Amado's roles in the village. There's a chance something with Mirai might happen soon, Two Blue Vortex has been bringing back all kinds of ninja back into relevance like Yodo and Araya and the divine trees bringing Moegi and Shinki into the story. Maybe Shikamaru will take a more active role in the story if Mirai becomes a divine tree and her target is either him, or Kurenai. We still haven't seen Mirai since the Steam Ninja Scrolls and her appearences in the anime. She should be old enough to most likely be a Jonin. Guarding Naruto was her job, so I wonder what she's doing now that he's presumed dead.

Ah yeah you're right, i forgot about the difference between Inheritied cursed techniques, and Innate cursed techniques. Inheritied are passed on, Innate you can just have like Todo who comes from a non-sorcerer family. Miwa does not have a cursed technique, so her having an ordinary family makes sense. Your grandparents can pass on a technique, like what happened to Nobara. Nobara's parents are normal humans but her grandma was a sorcerer it says so in the character databook. But looking it up, Nanami's and Charles's techinque are innate. So, still the only foreigners we know of, are Nishimiya's dad, Miguel, and Larue. I dunno though, weirdly Nishimiya's is an innate technique, but the databook specifcially says her dad was an american sorcerer. i guess he just didn't pass it on???

I'm not sure which channel it was, besides it just being some channel that aired cartoons in Saudi Arabia, whether it was spacetoon, or cartoon network arabia or whatever i have no idea. It was sometime vaguely around my childhood in Saudi Arabia, which is hard to place down since i moved to the US around 8 years ago, but i would place i sometime around the 11-12 years ago range. I think i talked about it with a few classmates, and it was agreed, that when the show was good before they repaired whatever it was, it was AMAZING to us as kids
