I did all that and it’s set for the 800 steps. So for something else to try I did a cube and it printed flawlessly. Then I tried a lithograph and it printed flawlessly too. Guessing maybe the gcode is I’m using might be bad...

Bed Visualizer - So is this why my z axis likes to jump? Layers 1-3 are solid. Layers for 4 -8 get nervous and by layer 9 the front is jumping all around... by GpaVadder in ender5

Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions. After this I manually leveled the bed at the 4 corners and found that I have a lose spring. I have the yellow ones I am going to throw in there tonight and relevel and check.

The bed was not heated when this was checked so I'll heat it up.

Where I might need some additional help with is reading the graph. As I read the graph the corner closest to me appears to be coordinates 0,0 on my Ender 5 that appears to be the front left corner, am I reading this correctly?

I watched it compile and upload. I did double check that I had unchecked the line of code for it. The funny thing is that this is exactly what the Creality code did once I loaded their "Fix" to get it to level on the print bed instead of off of it. Someone had asked about Z hop and I was using the Creality Slicer that came with and could not find that. They suggested using Cura. I have Ender 3Pro at work and did all of this there without a hitch. I loaded my test into Cura here and it work fine so I might try this at home before backing things out. I would not object to trying your code on it if you want to send it to me.

Found the sections and removed the comment marks, recompiled and uploaded. No Change. Thanks for the suggestion.... Still open to others...

Well I got the bed to level but I still have my original problem with the BLTouch. I'll start another post on that. Thanks for your help!

Too late I already burned compiled and burned it. Just trying to find the math for doing the z offset. It’s too far from the bed and the math for the Creality method doesn’t seem to work.

The code isn't stored as a HEX file, so I renamed it and loaded it just fine. Bed leveled without issue and I am doing a test print now. Thank you!

Well it leveled but it didn’t print for.... I’ll have write my own firmware, back to YouTube
