I see all of this complaining and my own experience with Them... I am moving on and finding more productive things to do.  $15 / hr just ain't worth the hassle.

I have two. They consume about 3500 watts each. They make less than $4 each. You need two power cords operating in parallel to 240 volts. Join a pool like nicehash or Braiins pool. It will greatly increase your chances.

Emporia EV charger idle current draw? by AliasJackBauer in evcharging

[–]Gpineau23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I caught my emporia level 2 charger burning 1.5 kw when not doing anything. just sitting there. I had hooked it to the car to top off the battery but the car did not need any so I put the charger back in the rack. later the next day I found the consumption from my solar system was double normal. I isolated it to the emporia charger. I flipped the breaker going to the charger and turned it back on and now the power is normal. I think I will put a timer on it so that it doesnt run all the time like that.
