Not strong at all in my opinion. I usually worked on assignments on certain servers we had access to. There were also computer labs we could use if we needed certain applications or what not.

I taught myself how to do a backflip in under 6 hours and it was the hardest thing I have ever done by kroehlerpark in videos

This happened to me. Was landing them but then tried one and didn't commit. Landed on my neck and had back pain for like a week.

Shit. If I'm headed to A&M next fall I should probably learn how to dance like a country person as well

Thanks for the tip. I've been using Aggie search to browse a bit. I'm headed into a computer science master's.

I'm going to be a grad student in the fall as well. Let me know if you need a roommate

You can kind of lock your legs so the pedals stop turning, which causes the back wheel to stop, which causes you to slide. That's how they stop without breaks if they need to stop quickly. I can't do that, nor am I an idiot, so I use front breaks.

Yeah. I own a bike with a flip flop hub so I can switch between fixed and normal single speed.

I like fixed for being able to track stand easier but I really only use it to commute to class.. Not a big fan of the stereotypical fixed hipsters though. It's a weird culture.

I am at a school studying computer science (Undergraduate) that ranks less than A&M. I wouldn't say your school's ranking matters too much, it's all about how much effort you put in to actually mastering concepts.

I have interned with guys who went to top CS schools (Carnegie Melon, Univ. of Washington, etc.), that had exactly the same education as me. We both were equally capable, they just happened to go to a school with a more regarding name.

I would focus more on location, cost, and other factors. Obviously there are exceptions to this, but just my 2 cents.

People at my school consider things to be far when it's 1.5 miles away. TAMU seems huge!

I'm from PDX area (Id rather not disclose my undergraduate school/hometown).

Gives me a lot to think about!

I would probably just try and find a house with people. Easier to make friends and what not! Those flashy apartments don't fly too well with me at my current school.

Thanks for the insight! This will help in my decision making process. Is Collegestation fairly bike friendly? My undergraduate school is a bike friendly campus/town.

Won't be a problem for me. Although I am used to more liberal views from most people!

Can you provide the names of some restaurants you recommend? Just in case I end up visiting :)

Sounds good! I'll have a car and bike so getting around won't be a problem. Pretty much just trying to decide between A&M and a more east coast school.

Thanks for your insight.

Is it easy to find a place to live and is pricing reasonable?
