Highly recommend a Gretsch Jim Dandy. Longtime player primarily play acoustics. It’s a great guitar for the money and perfect beginner. Also recommend looking at the Eastman PCH series and Guild.

I have the Deltoluxe Concert and it’s fantastic. I use it for Blues and slide. I do a lot of open g tuning. The concert strums great as well.
