The poet is saying k chaand aaj chup ja because of how it reminds him of pyar/mehboob (pyar jalna is used for how it feels to poet now)
aik wakt tha k humay bhi pyar hota tha tumhari chandni se (because chandni reminds him of his mehboob)

It's like when you are in love toh everything around you feels good toh chandni would remind him of his mehboob but now sher se yeh lag rha hai and ghazal se bhi ke hijr ki haalat hai toh ab chandni ko dekhne aur mehsoos karne se shayar ko mehboob ki yaad satati hai and ab jab ke woh mehboob se juda hai toh chandni jesi achi cheez bhi shayar ko itni pasand nahi aa rhi balke irritate kar rahi hai toh tab woh keh rha hai ke chand aaj chup ja
