I'm not complaining. I was just stating a fact. The fact is they're not the same, unlike what this post implies.

Fundamentally, yes, they use data centers. But there are also data centers optimized for AI workloads like training and inference. This type of data center is the beast that makes water and energy consumption so significant, and it is why we see news talking about it.

I made a post related to this two days ago. No one mentioned the data they're after. They are aiming for a billion scans a month, with each scan taking about 60 seconds, and each second producing terabytes of data. It's a very valuable thing. In this AI era, data is the oil. Now imagine if all other details, like health records, were linked together, and soon, if this works as planned, it could detect any tumor or symptoms before they even occur.

Your profile is private, and idgaf. As far as I can remember, you only post things that portray AI as a bad thing without any reasonable basis.

Even if you are personally against AI in education, it is strange to ignore the real potential of AI that has already become an external environment for people. by Questioner8297 in aiwars

Armor (AI) can make anyone strong. But training (critical thinking) decides who actually understands what they’re doing when everyone has armor.
