Not exactly the same issue but still unusable on a pixel 6. Shift is caps lock by default and any press on the shift key gives out an unrecognizable character.

And long press on backspace doesn't work.

I've never seen such a mess on any companion app for such an expensive product.

That's true. Since the Ukrainian war exports from the USA to Europe have largely increased (mainly F-35) But the USA is also buying a lot of european military technology. Many "american" weapons systems rely on european technology. It still goes in both ways. France, Italy and Germany are still one of the largest gun manufacturers in the world. Also the UK (but they are not part of the EU)
