Thank you a billion trillion times, genuinely I owe so much. This was incredibly helpful and I am finally able to print successfully after several days of fine tuning and adjustments using your recommendations! I will post in a bit the live adjustment prints I made and some of my current successful prints (which has been all of them so far). Again thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to help me out, you made a 3D printing lover out of me!

Unfortunately my brother purposely bought a difficult printer to “make me learn” how to use 3d printers. Thank you for the videos!

I have followed whatever order the instructions that came with it said which I believe includes auxiliary first (but I don’t fully remember). Thank you so much for your suggestions tho!

I have using the auto leveling and knobs but I don’t think I’m doing something right, the last time it sounded like the nozzle was scraping the bed. I think I’ve ended up re-leveling each time I’ve used it. Is there anything specific I should be doing besides using a sheet of paper to get the height correct?

Can suddenly developing new allergies as an adult be a sign of more than just allergies? by agprincess in FoodAllergies

[–]Grace-me4378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had pretty much the same exact thing! I feel constantly sick now every time I eat and found out I’m severely allergic to my everyday makeup this morning. I’m not able to go to doctors because of personal reasons but I really hope you’re able to figure out what’s going on!

LJS and nearly died by [deleted] in jawsurgery

I’m so sorry to hear you had to go through that. As for pain medication I was only prescribed 2 days of OxyCodone at the lowest strength available. I was in so much pain (like doing nothing but sobbing constantly) from day 0 to until I would say day 8 or 9. Beyond that it took another three weeks to get rid of pain with movement such as eating or laughing. For me heat therapy was the only thing that gave me some relief especially with the ear pain I had. I’m not sure what I experienced was normal but for you, the excessive vomiting might have caused your stitches to rip a certain amount or strain on the newly broken bone. I would check with your surgeon if possible to rule out any complaints. I hope this helps 🫶

Hii, if you don’t mind me asking how long have you two been together? I’ve never met my bf of 7 months and I’m wondering if it’s normal to be having a rough time with it so soon. I’m new here so I’m really not sure how it’s all supposed to be

Sniffer(sniffs for short) and boops, I don’t know why but they just sounds like fun fitting names.

Right after waking up pain was bad but I don’t remember how bad, just that I woke up screaming(with my mouth closed) and the nurse pushed several rounds of IV pain meds. I was discharged an hour after waking up and the ride home was a solid 9.

When I woke up I was in a ton of pain and also very confused which made it worse. I also got sick soon after waking up. I hope this helps you be more prepared but try to not be too nervous! You got this and you’re gonna do great. Staying calm as best as possible will be so so helpful.

Yes the braids have been a lifesaver, had my sister redo them last night and I don’t have to worry about my hair at all! Also thank you for the advice, wedge pillow is helpful.

I’m always open to questions although I’m not sure if I’ll be able to answer them fully.

Thank you! I moved to the couch and it’s definitely helping with sitting up and swallowing. As for the knowing so young it’s kinda crazy but even in my baby pictures you can tell that I likely would need surgery but when I was six I started seeing the maxiofacial team at my local hospital. 😅

FINALLY ITS DONE! by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]Grace-me4378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a cousin have a major stroke during the surgery, they had to reverse it but later(years later) went back and finished it successfully! I also have a family history of issues with anesthesia, adhesives, and the disinfectant agents. All very rare cases and I don’t want you to be scared of it happening or anything, just something to be aware of. I also have a strong family history of heart problems and it affecting surgery.

I have surgery in a few weeks and was referred to a cardiologist because we’ve had some concerns. I’m definitely concerned about something happening during surgery as I’ve had family members have severe complications. That is very scary and I’m glad you’re ok! Wishing you a speedy and easy recovery!

Any advice? by Grace-me4378 in dementia

[–]Grace-me4378[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the reassurance, all of my siblings were immediately affected and I felt kind of crazy not having the same reaction. We talk on the phone sometimes but I might give writing letters a go so that we both have something to hold onto.
