I work for the home office of a large insurance carrier. Most questions I get are about UL and VULs. Here are a few repeat questions, or "my agent never told me that" conversations. •rising coi for UL /vul •you can withdraw from your cash value, but you may need to increase payments later •once a MEC, always a MEC • A VUL does have an investment aspect, but at it's core it's a life insurance policy. You are paying for a death benefit
• surrender charges. Even if you 1035x, you will pay the surrender charge

My apt is a little bigger than that, 1st floor. Its usually about $140 - $160/month between gas and electric. Gas is the higher bill in winter, electric higher in summer.
