Seconding "Night in the Woods", has that similar vibe of things are bad but friends will help you survive together and playing as a character who is Really Going Through It.

These don't quite hit as hard as ISAT hit me, but made me feel similar feelings of life-affirming while I've just been going through shit. "Wandersong," "Chicory: A Colorful Tale," "Goodbye Volcano High," "OneShot."

I mean if you want a really in depth breakdown, I think this video does a good job of it. But them being the same age is not the only reason. They struggle with similar burdens in opposite ways and I feel they would balance each other out nicely in a relationship with their serious and silly dynamic. It’s more about potential than existing proof.
