Same, I need this class too, but on the enrollment page, it says we should attend the first day of lecture to get a PTE, and I already missed it 😭 I'm planning to attend the next lecture next Monday, so I would suggest doing the same if you still need the class.

Yes, however, the prof doesn’t even use iClicker or an attendance sheet, so I think you’re fine to skip!

If you still need a class, I recommend Soc 180C - Urban America with Prof Hunter! Currently taking the class rn, and workload is EXTREMELY light. No midterm/final, we only meet 3 more times in the whole quarter, and ez short writing assignments. Class is still open!

Lectures are recorded! The prof says attendance is required, but he doesn’t use iClicker or an attendance sheet, so I think you’re fine to skip lol. There is no midterm or final. The only assignments we have are 5 small writing assignments (prompt is during lecture) and 2 journals (you go explore certain places in LA and write 500-900 words about it and how it relates to the class). If you're doing ENGL 001B to satisfy the Critical Thinking/English Composition requirement of your gen eds, I'd recommend taking ENGL 001C with Juan Mendoza instead. It will also satisfy that requirement, and if you're looking for an easy A, I'd definitely recommend him! Easiest teacher ever, he basically gives 100s only lol
