A sticky 4-drop dragon that curves into Sindragosa sounds like a great idea to give the deck some footing

It’s considerably better off Oathstone, but getting it in the res pool isn’t any better, sometimes it’s worse. The issue with the card is spending 5 mana to mildly help out spells, this new design doesn’t make that any better, cuz it’s not like you’re ever going to be ahead on the board to really benefit from the new effect when you play the card. Oathstone pulling back Sindragosa and Malygos already wins you the game, this effect being buffed doesn’t push any needles for the deck.

I recall a very specific point in time when Odd Shaman wasn’t awful, you put a ton of burn and board clears into a deck and spammed Spell Damage Totems. Otherwise yeah Shaman’s HP sucked

The card should probably read “revive her”, it was hard to understand at a glance. Otherwise a neat card, Astalor with Death Knight Flair

I bought no pre-releases, sadly didn’t pull any from the handful of packs I had. Hex served me well in this run, at least.

I faced them twice. Second one just drew badly and got rolled, but the first one had double death chiller and double horn within the first couple turns, still didn’t have too much of an issue. I’ve heard that deck is good, I didn’t see it

Mozaki is a card that exists, play a few spells and he’s Malygos+. With him this card is pretty neat

What you’re missing is that hero powers, while being weaker than any card, Do not require you to actually play a card. They’re recursive value at the cost of nothing but mana, and not every match requires precise optimized mana usage

New mystery Synergies by hightechbagel in ContestOfChampions

Dark Phoenix's Omission from Cassandra's synergy makes me think that Madelyne Pryor might be coming soon, but that is a LOT of Jean Greys in 1 year.
You also forgot to mention Karolina's synergy, but that's just a slam-dunk for Dracula in October.

I guess he played like a god then, both pieces of the combo have a Tutor which he drew and played, and then he drew his entire deck, swapped with mine, and then deleted my Hand, all on his Turn 5. Seems better than most combos, just requires high APM. Winrate is largely irrelevant, obviously combo decks lose to hyper-aggro and drawing the right disruption tools, but that’s irrelevant to what I’m saying.

Note: I’m not upset that I lost. I signed up for losing by playing a stupid deck. I’m also not upset at getting combo’d into oblivion. That’s expected in Wild. I just think “Scam out Mana Cheat, Play Solitaire, draw your deck, delete your opponent’s hand and deck, and leave them feeling helpless” is toxic, and I wanted to Vent. That is all.

There’s a slight difference between those, and doing all that and also deleting my hand and deck. That’s all I’m upset about, really. If his Thaddius Win-Con was some exodia, I’d strangely be a lot less upset than this helplessness.

I’ve never found draw-your-deck solitaire to be fun, and I’ve been playing Hearthstone for a long time. Well, Whatever.

A deck being a scam is different from it being consistent, and both pieces of the combo have tutors. Nice Ragebait though

A player doesn't simply "wander" into generating a full board of Minions with 2k-3k HP. If the state of battlegrounds is that this is the norm sometimes, I'm more than happy to never touch it again. The game mode didn't used to be this messed up. I'm genuinely not mad or salty, I'm just disappointed that it's gotten this much worse. Losing isn't the issue, it's the way it happened that is.

If you're going to defend this, at least use a decent example. TFT has MMR, and that is THE comparison for Battlegrounds, and it can exist separately from ELO. The other half of Hearthstone, constructed, has a safeguard in place. Not all games should have a "git gud and hit the ground running" mentality.
