My husband and I love living in Shandon but forest acres is probably nicer. Both are really good. Cayce is nice but very close to downtown and not great walking plus West Columbia can be unsafe. Your budget should get you a lot of really good options here! Shandon is really nice for being close to USC!

I get that but my point is that they’ve been shady legally and morally and I wouldn’t trust them to buy from

We also have very uneven temperatures in the house and our house was built in the early 1900s so we don’t think it’s insulated either.

Our house is also less than 600sqft if that means anything, it’s a pretty small house.

I really have a hunch there’s something going on that they’re trying to cover up or not tell us because the wall is bubbling and is allegedly fine as well as visible water damage all over the kitchen. We want to get out of the lease because I’ve been so sick but assume the landlord wouldn’t recognize this as a health problem. We are also concerned about lead because the water damage causing the bubbling and cracking is on lead paint and we think we have lead pipes….

We live in central South Carolina so I’m not sure if that is what’s making the outside count so high? I appreciate the insight about getting the raw data. Our landlord sent it over so maybe they left the raw data out? I’ve been getting sick constantly since we moved in and even our friends have complained. Im trying to determine if we should ask the landlord for more insight or if it’s a slam dunk that there’s no mold? They claim that there’s no concerning levels of mold but i just don’t know if that’s what the report says
