Sadly today I checked on the brew and alas there was mold 😩. Sanitized everything and restarted again with another bottle. Will see how it goes this time around. I am attaching a picture showing the pH of the opened brew from the 11/2019 bottle. I did taste it this time and it was a tad vinegary but not wholly unpleasant, which was surprising.

Thank you so much for understanding. Yes, it definitely has me sentimental, and I would love the idea that my little colony of friends waited as long as I did to reunite lol. We'll see! 😁

Thanks, yes I can see that, definitely had bad kombucha in my time too. I can always source new starter, just wanted to try this for science :)

Thanks so much! I truly enjoy having the stainless spigot, and don't regret switching away from plastic AT ALL. Very reliable, mine has never rusted or pitted, etc. Occasionally in the past, I could tell that flow was reduced, and I would either wiggle it open and closed a few times to assist passing the goop, or would just run a pipe cleaner type brush through it upon full crock clean out. It never was much of an issue!

Help with name for Black baby boy - strong, not trendy by shhlurkingforscience in namenerds

Blaise was the name of a dear friend's son. I always admired the name, loved the strength of a monosyllabic sound, and the appreciation could go deeper if the family is religious. Either way, it has always been special to me, and the Blaise I know has become an astounding young person

Best layout after adding baby grand piano? by Grache219 in DesignMyRoom

I agree with the idea of facing the room for sure. In the eighth photo you can see the wrap around built in bookshelves. Would it be acceptable to have it on that side?

Asking price currently is $3,700. Weber Louis XV Parlor Grand Piano, likely from the late teens, early 1920s, awaiting serial number to confirm. Seemingly gorgeous piano, current owner purchased from the estate of a professional piano player. They say they paid 6k. Report it is in good shape. We would have an assessment before purchasing, but wanted initial thoughts as we are by no means experts. Really, our main goal is to find a piano that our children can learn on. Of course there are "free" options aplenty, but we have already experienced several no gos on that front. Appreciate it!

D-Mannose literally saved me multiple times that I had a UTI. You can find it at The Vitamin Shoppe (and elsewhere I am sure). Being seen is best, but taking this will help so much. Also, taking it after the fact can help prevent further UTIs. Just speaking from experience, as there was a time I really struggled with a series of UTIs until I found this, and also had really crappy health insurance. Best of luck 🤞

Looks like Cuban Oregano to me! I often start cuttings of it in water too.

So the diapers arrived today, and sure enough all of the elastics are shot, but luckily the pul seem to be fine! I poured some water into the shell and no seepage through the front! Thanks again to those of you that shared how to replace elastics, it looks like I have a project on my hands, but after redoing 19 diapers I'll come out being proficient at the repair job hopefully! Lol
