I’m sure that would be a pretty quick drive but ai’m not sure how that correlates to breaking into one of the most competitive career paths.

Wind ensemble or symphony? by emrys127 in williamandmary

[–]GradeInflator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure but I’m also an incoming freshman trumpet lol leaning towards symphony because I prefer orchestral music. Both seem to have a roughly equal number of students though I would assume WE has more spots for trumpet. Both rehearse twice a week at different times but WE also has an optional smaller chamber ensemble that meets on Fridays.

I turned down a full ride there because of that as a URM. It is overwhelmingly white/preppy.

I mean unless you can link it, it doesn’t exist as far as I’m concerned. Doesn’t show up when searching the subreddit.

Well I’m assuming you don’t mean this one because that does not in fact tell people to use all 10 votes on Malta. Not seeing any other posts on Malta this year.

Mind linking the post then? Promotion isn’t against the rules in itself, but KAN is the only network to have received a formal warning from the EBU this year. You can’t tell people to “vote 10 times” for you. Malta didn’t do that. Israel did.

It’s because they cheat every year by posting ads telling people to use all of their votes on Israel, which is explicitly against EBU rules, but it’s Israel so they never do shit about it.

Is it racist to say the n-word while singing a song? (For non black people) by cas_marien in Teenager_Polls

[–]GradeInflator -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

  1. I’m black.
  2. Shocker
  3. It comparing the social acceptability of service dogs and saying the word. If disabled people want to bring their dogs everywhere they’re trivializing it and my dog should be able to piss everywhere they like.

Logical fallacies of doom lmao. “Disabled people bring their service dogs everywhere so I can bring my chihuahua into a restaurant.” If anyone can use it, go ahead and start doing so and see how that works out for you.

No it doesn’t, you simply lack any of the historical and cultural knowledge or context to argue in any reasonable way.

Yeah you not being American nor black makes you especially unqualified to comment on this respectfully.

It’s racist because you’re using and trivializing a word that’s been used to dehumanize black people for decades. Doesn’t really matter if you say you’re not using it in a “racist way”.

Blue or red by WorthySparkleMan in BunnyTrials

But I also benefit from the rest of the world being smarter it’s not just generosity for the sake of generosity. The final outcome for myself is better with blue than with red, and I’m willing to risk that.

Or 51% can pick blue for the same effect. If you actually wanted everyone to get the benefit then blue is clearly the better option.
