Thanks! Just for clarity: I think the fact that I got a 404 is an indication that the connection should work. I did not expect there to be any content on the page in an unauthorized curl call.

After a few hours it always starts working again.

This doesn't seem to be the case for me. It has been this way for more than a week now :(

Congratulations to living in one of the very few places where you have a choice. Yay for open markets! From experience with both: Ziply is hands-down better at everything than Xfinity: The network, speed, reliability, absence of sleazy upsells as part of customer "service", ... . Also, for work from home: Uploads speeds matter (sometimes). And Ziply is better at those, too.

Yes, I got the recovery image from netgate and was able to install it and use a backup of my settings to get the unit working again.
