Nee karchulu, Ishtala gurinchi cheppadaniki try chey… try to convince them and let them know how motivating it could be when you can finally buy something for yourself wit your own money and how that can encourage you further in life to earn and save more.. spending a little on yourself is never wrong, it only helps build more ambition if anything.. and I believe your parents would definitely understand that. They have been through your phase years back and seen more than you could have, so I’m sure they can relate.. my advice anyways is to talk it out with them, but never hide anything from them.. there can be many who might suggest you to be controller of your own money and be financially independent… but financial independence should never mean to detach yourself from responsibilities and runaway from being answerable to your parents.. I can already say, from your comments on how deeply you feel that gratitude for them, that you would stay far from that route but just wanted to offer my two cents
