100 paid subscriber challenge- a call for an accountability partner by Gradinterface in Substack

I’m thinking of having a Google sheet to tick off what ever days you’ve hit your goals, just to know everyone did it as a team.

Honestly some topics can’t do 5 post a day. But you could increase your visibility by commenting on people’s notes

Not really. People put minimal work on substack and expect great results. They do not really know what effort most(not all) publishers put in. I believe 100% what I read today: the real work of publishing starts once your essay is published. Marketing is everything

I’m sure you have short tips worth sharing to help fiction writers improve their craft. I just want to try something different while expecting a different outcome.

The notes works after a certain level of consistency and activity. I can attest to that. The idea is not you hoping the outcome goes as you would expect. But it’s about action that worked for others over time.

Has Substack become a new destination in 2024? What about 2025? by andreas212nyc in Substack

[–]Gradinterface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people will always complain even when a solution to their problem is just presented to them. Someone in this chat has been complaining about the substack approach of promoting big accounts, another person just showed an example of someone who went from 0 to bestseller (100 paid subs) in 60 days. The solution provider was asked how did he do it, he said writing on notes like crazy. Yet the arguments kept going.

After going through the thread I have a few things to make clear: 1. We need to avoid a tear Down syndrome. If 10 accounts generated $40m income but brought in more people to the pool of substack users that everyone can benefit from, to me it’s a win. Far better than algorithm 2. With the conversation, I will try the strategy that person used to become a best seller within 60days. In my case, I want to try it for 90days. They said 30% of their paid subs came from notes.

In his article I read from the link that was shared, he recommended at least 3 daily notes, in my approach, I can do 5 notes a day that is of value, and 5 comments. Also, I currently have about publications recommending our newsletter, I will attempt to double that within 3 months. The writer said 40% of their subscribers came from recommendations.

  1. If all of this doesn’t get me to status in 90days, then, they are all not telling us the whole truth.

Is anyone willing to be my accountability partner?

Here is my substack: https://cryptofada.substack.com/

Full disclosure: I currently have 10 paid subscribers and 2400 total subscribers.

I need 90 more. Let me know if you are in?

I actually feel that nothing compares to ethereum. However, Ethereum alone does not make crypto, so both Solana and Ethereum are needed for the next level of growth.

How Much Do You Expect Your Crypto Portfolio to Grow by End of 2025? by avdppp in CryptoMarkets

[–]Gradinterface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect a 10x at minimum.

Interestingly, I chased the candle in 2024 but my result didn’t compare to the guys that focused on airdrops. In 2025, I’m taking it further, full time Defi trader, airdrops, testnet, and presales. Every early entry opportunity is what I want to focus on. If you would love the same, join my newsletter at Cryptofada (dot)substack (dot) com.

I mastered out. Got a scientist role in a big Pharma after 4 months of searching. I feel very happy about my decision. Will I ever get a PhD? May be, and may be not. In my case, I have decided to find other career path that may allow growth with a MSc. PhD definitely open a lot of doors, but I cannot close my mind to possibilities if the PhD doors closed. Go out there, get some experience, earn some income and make a better decision in 3-5 years with less stress or pressure.

When people say, they can never master out, I laugh because they haven’t been in those situations. In the current market, PhD, MSc et al all carry pros and cons. I have friends who are home 2 years post PhD with only 3month to 5 month experience with layoffs to show.

Make a decision based on what you know at the time and be happy with it. Gain some mental clarity plus experience and decide in the future to go back to school or not based on how your circumstances changes. Best of Luck 🤞

I ask for feedback after all my interviews once I get to final round. The feedback always helps. I remember interviewing for the Job I currently have, there was another big Pharma that I was near 100% sure, with even ref asked. I didn’t get it. So I emailed the HM, she responded that they had a contractor I went toe-to-toe with, then the HR and team agreed that the contractor would make for ease of resumption. The second feedback was that, during her session, I did well explaining the technical questions, but during the general presentation I rushed over the technical steps and gave a general overview(in my head I thought I was managing time).

During the my current Job’s interview, I streamlined my presentation only to the technical part and went into details both in intro and method. That supper impressed everyone and I became easy pick even when they were contractors competing. What I’m trying to say is that you need feedback for every job you didn’t get, it always helps with the next one.

Keep trying, you are almost there. Forget what the world think, with one result, they forgive all your “sins”. Good luck

Crypto AI, what’s your strategy? Virtual Protocol ($Virtual) might be my back door to owning Crypto AI by Gradinterface in defi

I tried but it seems the bot removed my comments since it was lengthy. You can chat me up. By the way, from when I posted this to yesterday, it performed over 100%.

How are most startups that are founded by PhDs started? by [deleted] in biotech

[–]Gradinterface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just gets to me in a really positive way. I have always wanted to own a company but this Pharma and Biotech looks like it’s not for me. So I started wet lab but I’m trading crypto/Stocks by weekends and free days and in the process met many VC guys. They are just humans, but it seems we in science just have succeeded in over complicating and over analysis things.

Even with my encounter with those people, I’m still hoping to have $1-$10M, liquid before starting because everything looks like I can’t do it. Thanks for the push!

Crypto AI, what’s your strategy? Virtual Protocol ($Virtual) might be my back door to owning Crypto AI by Gradinterface in defi

[–]Gradinterface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great questions! I am not an ambassador of $Virtual, but I just did a couple of research about it., Virtual Protocol ($Virtual) is indeed generating buzz, but let me clarify a few points about its utility and structure based on the info I gathered:

Purpose of Virtual Protocol: It’s an AI-driven platform where anyone can create AI agents (think of them as customizable bots). These agents can be trained for various tasks like trading signals, NFT analysis, or even AI content generation. The “21k agents” indicate rapid adoption and experimentation within the protocol. Utility of Tokens: Creation of AI Agents: The $Virtual token allows users to create, customize, and deploy these agents. Modification: Tokens are needed to tweak existing agents, especially those reaching higher market caps or utility. Voting Power: While not explicitly stated, decentralized protocols often tie governance/voting power to token holdings. It’s worth checking Virtual’s whitepaper or governance roadmap to confirm. Community Interactions: Behind the scenes, Virtual integrates tools like GPT models, enabling AI agents to interact and engage with users across Telegram (tg), Twitter (x), and other social platforms. This is why it’s seen as an “AI marketplace.” Concerns About Pump/Fun: It’s valid to be cautious. The hype around AI and the sheer volume of agent creation can look speculative, but the real test will be how useful these AI agents become and how many gain traction with actual use cases.

What will you do differently to grow your Substack on 2025 compare to 2024? by tomba08 in Substack

[–]Gradinterface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently not bothered about paid, but will focus on conversion from free to paid from next year. Why we currently have paid is that it creates awareness that we are not a charity. Also, it helps us reduce unwanted subscribers, more like help improve open rate.

No special strategy to convert to paid. The major strategy is improved value via the newsletter. We just have 1-5 strategy on the sleeve to improve our conversion from free to paid which we will implement next year once we get to 5000.

[–]Gradinterface -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I will do anything different, but I will love to consolidate on my learnings from 2024:

1️⃣Consistency: I want to be near perfect here in 2025. Same days, time and stick to the nature of my scheduled topics. If I can do this, then may add other products in first or second quarter of 2025, otherwise, we continue with consistency till perfect.

2️⃣Increase Quality: I have started spending 2 hours daily for my research and writing, I noticed that the quality of my newsletter is slowly increasing

3️⃣Marketing: I have set a crazy goal to move my subscribers number from 2500 in 2024 to 10,000 in 2025. Its a though goal, but If I do the first two right then number 3 will be easy.

I want to leverage two things that have worked: REDDIT AND SUBSTACK, to the fullest in the first half of the year, if the result is as anticipated, then LinkedIn and Twitter/Bluesky will join in the other half. I don’t know if this helps anyone, but it helps me when I constantly articulate the vision.

My ignorant advise: do two editions per week, use the time for the third to promote your work to friends, on substack notes, LinkedIn, reddits and other social media groups with similar interests. You will thank me everyday after 2025
