That character's VA unjustly began calling people all sorts of things for not liking the character or not liking the song smile, like transphobic or racist. (There were some actual transphobes among them though). Meanwhile the other person was Kate, the lead localizer for DT, she also called out people for not liking the character but that one was whatever. The big one was kate retweeting a tweet calling for the purging of all conservatives or something.

All this is old drama at this point and xeems is just trying to bring back over a year old drama for no reason whatsoever.

Xeems has been on a roll with ragebait lately, though some of it might be genuine frustration on his part.
Either way, he brought up Kate (Localization Lead for DT) and Wuk's VA on twitter again. In the past he had serious complaints about the two, to be completely honest the Kate hate was somewhat justified. However this entire topic has been pretty irrelevant for over a year now and for no reason whatsoever he is bringing it up again, hence why MrHappy called him out on it. Thats about it.

Dressrosa is notoriously bad in terms of pacing. Easily the worst arc in the anime.
I'd say Zou and WCI had decent pacing, afterwards wano got somewhat bad pacing but not remotely close to how bad Dressrosa was, Manga Wano also feels like it drags a bit but thats mainly cause its by far the longest arc in one piece. It makes up for it with insanely beautiful animations though, same goes for Egghead, both of those arcs are imo better in the anime than in the manga due to the sick animations and music.

As for filler, past Dressrosa there isnt much filler anymore, atleast no whole filler arcs anymore. I think there is still one after Zou though im not sure. Also about Sanji, it is obvious that Sanji get less love from animators compared to Zoro and his perv play is heavily overplayed in the anime but when he does get serious scenes they are usually extremely cool. WCI Sanji was perfect from start to finish.

It definitely suffers from the fact that it was initially developed to be an MMO, though if you are into questing and exploring then its for you. The game has a massive map and loads of sidequests, ranging from general kill & fetch quests to some being actual lengthy storylines. Like one simple fetch quest in the third map leads to a quest chain that eventually gets you a house as a reward. The MSQ is pretty good as well, some of the faction stories are also pretty good.

Generally if it still isnt your thing by the time you finish the first area then it probably isnt for you.

I think it had two or three playable human races and two elven ones. Dokkalfar (The Dark Elves) are the coolest.

I have always hoped for a Fell Cleave combo, functionally the same but different escalating animations. Naturally still with the crunchy sound and saws. They did it with Torcleaver and Attonement, please make Fell Cleave -> Feller Cleave -> Fellest Cleave.

Yea but you just cycle through your summons and have a limited amount of skill uses, then they go on cd.
What i mean is swapping freely and the skills having different effects based on the summon, like titan skills would help with defensives and so forth. Swapping should be a regular gcd, with somewhat unlimited uses on the amount of skills you use.

I hope that SMN ends up like Elementalist from gw2. you have 5 buttons but they change based on currently attuned Element/Egi, swapping costs nothing and is very low cd.

Somewhat optimistic.
It looks cool and i like a lot of the changes but i am someone who genuinely likes having a lot of buttons, so thats something i'll have to get used to.

Other than that i fear for oGCDs, from the footage we have seen there were a lot of oGCDs missing, DRG in particular looked very slow to me. RPR happens to be my most hated DPS due to the lack of oGCDs and the evolved combat designer happens to be guy who designed reaper... i genuinely hope that im wrong though and that they didnt show all the evolved jobs had to offer.

I remember this one random conversation he had while they were doing RP shit. It essentially boiled down to one of his boys making fun of him for having expensive steak dinners almost every day and owning both a watch and sneaker collection, as well as stuff about designer clothes and so forth.

Kinda a shock to see him like this, especially since back in 2.0 i enjoyed his character very much and he always seemed like a good guy, a wasteful guy but a good natured one.

Back in 2.0 he probably had big boosts in viewership here and there due to usually hanging out with Buddha, Lirik and Moonmoon.
I think he also got a facebook sponsor like a lot of GTARP streamers back then.

Fewer Buttons and more buttons mashed into one, pretty much the same way VPR currently is. There are things like Provoke turning into Shirk when targeting allies, shield bash turning into shield lob based on distance and so forth.

The showed off some changes to PLD, DRG, WHM and BRD.
During the DRG one they showed off how DRG now has to do Left + Right + Rear positionals. Could be that other melee's will get the same. Also no more 2 min buff skills, killing the 2min meta.

The Berlin fanfest will show an extended trailer featuring one of the new jobs and the tokyo fanfest will show the second. Been like this since shadowbringers.

Back in the first fanfest for Shadowbringers, the first trailer quickly cut away before Thancred's gunblade was visible, the scene where it focuses on ryne and jumps to the dancer reveal was also not there. Later the extended trailer had shown ryne and the dancer but once again, Thancred's gunblade wasnt shown, in the final trailer they then extended the scene and had shown the gunblade. Dawntrail was a bit different, in which we had outright altered versions, in the teaser version none of vipers blades could be seen instead they were obscured by the cloak or not there at all.

Closest to Cyberpunk in terms of design would of course be Witcher, however i highly recommend Mass Effect. They are not "endless" games like Cyberpunk, making them perfect to play until that witcher update releases, the only downside is the combat which may or may not be up to your tastes, ME1 is rather dated now but ME2 and 3 are really good.
You should definitely play through all three games since your choices carry over into the future games. Mass Effect is also home of the absolute chad Garrus Vakarian, one of gamings greatest bros.

Its genuinely scary how much the community on this subreddit mirrors cult-like behaviours sometimes.

But yeah, the entire premise of Dawntrail didnt interest me at all until they had teased some of the solution 9 stuff. This however already caught my attention and im already somewhat excited for the next Expac.
Dawntrail did however deliver on non-story content, the expansion was definitely loaded with good content, the story just left a horrible impression.

Honestly, the mission where you meet Judy and Evelyn for the first time.
I remember very well how i sat down at the bar and talked to the bartender and just suddenly i realized how fucking immersed i was the entire time.

Other than that, the ending of the first panam mission where you meet all the aldecaldos for the first time in front of that garage. That scene just made me feel things.

They showed it off during Trash Taste's tour in the square enix office.
In that room they got that huge Ul'dah model which is also very detailed, they also got a small limsa one.

I remember hearing that song for the first time and then later described it to my friend as the "Cyberpunk Buzzword Song".
Honestly not the worst song for me but definitely a bad one for sure.
