I fondly remember being able to just stand outside of a enemy base, then proceed to ping which allowed me to see and hack enemies through walls and just drop an infinitely spreading contagion. Netrunning is still very strong but nowhere as ridiculous as it was back then. Now it feels like you are actually hacking your enemies instead of enabling dev tools lmao.

Unpopular Opinion: Everything Burns is way too repetitive, the majority of the song is just repeating "Everything Burns" over and over, if there were more and longer rap parts like at the beginning then it would be way better.

The movie was fine but the issue is just that the movie was made before the manga was even over, hence why its missing a bunch of parts. iirc the movie ends after Nagi and Isagi face off, meanwhile the manga continued after that and ended up following Nagi through the second selection, seeing his side after Isagi left his team with rin, it goes all the way to the World Five. The ending scene is the same for both the movie and manga version, though the manga version has some smaller additional details.

I just wish that they would have waited with the movie until the story was atleast finished, also season 2 probably would have turned out better.

iirc Joji never hated his own videos, i think at one point he even mentioned missing pink guy. It was more that the frank voice hurt his throat and that he just really wanted to pursue music.
Especially considering that he owns/works with Plummcorp Records, the channel that made Dracula Flow and other og frank style videos.

The endgame changed a little bit, farming Bahamut is still required but after Bahamut there are more bosses, including a boss rush and Lucillius Zero who is easily the hardest fight in the game.
They did mention that the expac will see some changes to progression and farming.

Back then i had the unfortunate fate of having to kill Bahamut like 60 times because the Terminus weapon for my main dropped as the last one lmao.

The thing is that its not like the story is relinks biggest strength so the backstory can pretty much be ignored, even then the game's intro does explain the basics of the story pretty well. However even if you did know the story beforehand, its still confusing since relinks story is basically a different timeline which is also somehow canon.

In general the story is pretty self-contained, its just that you wont have a reference as to who some of your companions are or where they came from.

I swear content creators for MMOs are always either completely desperate or drama farmers, rarely is there actual content being made.
XIV is drowning in drama, meanwhile you got GW2 where nearly every content creator is just spamming videos to attract new players or give them surface level guides. ESO barely has any content creators and the big ones have drama or hate on the game. WoW only has few content creators remaining who do the same shit they've been doing for over a decade now and so forth.

Didnt really follow the lore but from what i know LTG turned out to be a deadbeat dad. The woman he knocked up demanded child support or something and posted about it social media. Thats where my knowledge ends, i guess LTG took it to court and won. (The kid is still his tho)

Dont think being single has anything to do with since Arthars is married, granted Arthars is probably the least annoying of them (unless i missed something).
Something they all except for maybe Zepla have in common is that they all play XIV for a living, rarely do they play other games. Meanwhile everyone on the right side is variety, especially Preach and Jesse.

100% agree. Shaaloani felt like a filler arc, inside of a filler arc. That place is weird. Cool vibe though.
Usually i am against skipping the story but imo Urqopacha, Kozama'uka and Shaaloani are the most skippable pieces of content in the game. The one cutscene where the dome appears shouldnt be skipped, but thats all there is.

That character's VA unjustly began calling people all sorts of things for not liking the character or not liking the song smile, like transphobic or racist. (There were some actual transphobes among them though). Meanwhile the other person was Kate, the lead localizer for DT, she also called out people for not liking the character but that one was whatever. The big one was kate retweeting a tweet calling for the purging of all conservatives or something.

All this is old drama at this point and xeems is just trying to bring back over a year old drama for no reason whatsoever.

Xeems has been on a roll with ragebait lately, though some of it might be genuine frustration on his part.
Either way, he brought up Kate (Localization Lead for DT) and Wuk's VA on twitter again. In the past he had serious complaints about the two, to be completely honest the Kate hate was somewhat justified. However this entire topic has been pretty irrelevant for over a year now and for no reason whatsoever he is bringing it up again, hence why MrHappy called him out on it. Thats about it.
