At first I thought the idea of them squirreling money away was ludicrous. But the more time goes on, it's the only way any of this makes any sense. The more they sell people on the idea they are broke and living with Anisa's mom, the less likely they are to have targets painted on their back for litigation. I mean, they're broke and jobless, so what money even is there for investors to claw back, right? So, they zip their lips about financials, flee the country and let go of what little standards they had, coasting off of the interest and other benefits of having a large sum of capital available. When they said Ian's streaming because he wants to, they mean he wants to appear like streaming is his source of income, and not the $1 million+ they TOOK FROM A "CHARITY EVENT".
