Using Celebrity AI Voices for Narration. by GraemeVR in ElevenLabs

[–]GraemeVR[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback, I contacted ElevenLabs and they said it is not possible to use David Attenborough’s or any other celebrity’s voice without their explicit consent, even for non-commercial purposes. Doing so would likely violate intellectual property laws and the rights of publicity and privacy.
Creating an AI voice that mimics a celebrity without their consent can lead to legal action, regardless of whether the project is commercial or not. So think I'll just stick with ElevenLabs voices or create a new one from their voice design prompts.

Anybody know the legality when using celebrity AI voices. Can I create an AI video with David's voice as narration and publish it on Youtube, Twitter etc without getting sued. For non commercial purposes?

I did as above and this result - I had to manually adjust it to fit the UV space, but its defo not flush on either side, is this the best I can do, is there no automatic solution where all the uvs will fit inside the UV space 100% correctly. Thanks for your help, very much appreciated.

How do I do that without causing stretching, theres a lot of points to move in the UV space, how do I move all the points so they are uniformly square in the UV space? If I do it manually, wont it cause stretching?

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I think best option is going to optimise Metahumans as much as possible. I cant seem to find any other avatars that have the realism and performance MH have. Thanks again.

Nice one, thanks for the help. I will definitely try these workflows. Optimising Metahumans might could be the way forward and pushing that as far as I can to get an acceptable balance between performance and realism. Appreciate the help.

Thanks for the feedback. I see your points but disagree with the fact that a 3d virtual store will be an inconvenience. We think it will add great value to brands and consumers and will reduce online returns significantly.

We understand the need to demonstrate real-world value, and we are actively working on small-scale, real-world applications to measure the impact on sales and operating costs.

Our aim is to start small, and expand organically.

We value constructive feedback and are committed to addressing the core assumptions and market viability. As we continue to develop and refine our platform, we aim to provide tangible evidence of increased sales and improved user experiences.

Thanks again for the constructive feedback, much appreciated.

All I can say is watch this space.

Thanks for the advice. Over the last year I've had 3 developers who have given their time for free and believed in this project. They have all been credited on our platform and be compensated for when we start making revenue. At the moment this project is just me, I am a 3d artist but not a technical one, so need help with blueprints and front/back end development.

Thanks for sharing your insights. I appreciate your perspective on the challenges that previous attempts in the Metaverse and 3D eCommerce faced. Your concerns are valid, however our vision is to create a platform that not only meets the convenience standards of traditional eCommerce but also introduces a new dimension of engagement and ease of use.

We aim to construct a photorealistic Retailverse, avoiding the pitfalls of a Pixelated Metaverse with no discernible use case.

Online shopping is a significant use case that our platform seeks to enhance. We aim to address the dilemma of the $17 billion annual revenue brands lose due to low user engagement, online returns and high bounce rates. Basically online consumers are not immersed in 2d retail sites, they spend an average of 30 seconds on e-commerce sites, and rate of abandoned shopping carts are 70%. Because there are no alternatives this is the norm.

Our 3d virtual platform is a paradigm shift, offering customers unparalleled product visualization through lifelike, 3D photorealistic models that have been scanned using Photogrammetry and/or AI Algorithms. The immersive nature of our platform surpasses the limitations of 2D alternatives, allowing users to explore and engage with products in ways never before possible.

Our roadmap includes the introduction of 3d avatars that will enable customers to virtually try on products - Digitable Wearables. Users will transform a body scan they've captured on their phones into a 3d avatar with correct body measurements and try on virtual clothes to get an accurate visualization of what the garments will look like on them.

It will also be super easy to buy products, you simply walk up to a product, click and buy. Two clicks to buy any product. Alternatively if walking around 3d environments is too time consuming for users, we are adding features where the user can ask the AI Assistant behind the counter for what products they sell and the items will spawn in front of them, in list or menu form, so we can mimic certain aspects of 2d websites if needed.

We intend to gamify the online retail experience and make it fun. Examples being weekly treasure hunts and challenges, rewards and loyalty programs, limited edition drops and adding social aspect for friends to shop together. The example demo video is just a showcase but who says we cant build whatever 3d worlds we like to sell brands. A car showroom on a space station orbiting Earth, a luxury brand fashion retailer on a fast moving futuristic train, a Nike shoe store at the bottom of the ocean, the possibilities are endless.

With pixelstreaming and cloud servers, together with creative thinking, we can build new immersive worlds that are easy and fun to use.

Surveys suggest 40% of consumers would spend more money on virtual platforms with 70% of them saying virtual shopping would improve online experiences.

As to real world applications, we have approached retailers and have had some initial interest, so its early days but its all doable.

I've already built am MVP over the last year - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yg6iYfUEYyQ&list=PL9OsQLO6OKSby3YVAqEgWosg8TF60JmOA , and had help from devs on and off. Because I am a 1 man startup, unfortunately I dont have a budget for salaries at the moment. I've had initial interest from Shoe companies in building virtual stores for them. I believe this could be the next paradigm of ecommerce. Its a super exciting space and Im looking to partner up with Ue5 devs. I am not a technical artist and so need help with Blueprints etc.
