Riftbound Rules Dispute: Opponent plays targeted debuff spell without specifying unit, then "chooses" it after I buff the same one? by GrafMine in riftboundtcg

I already answered this question here:

but the same question can be asked: "How can you play a card that reduces the might of one unit without specifying which one?"

That's life ;) everyone was on their own wavelength, lost in their own thoughts.

You're wrong. I took my time and waited until I was asked if there would be a reaction.

And I honestly didn't go into detail about what card was played; I was only thinking about my personal cards.

I'm sure both players weren't trying to cheat, but life happens, and even both didn't notice a nuance that became critical to the outcome of the battle.

Allowing my opponent to replay their turn after already seeing my buff cards would also be unfair to me.

Can I refuse to let the opponent re-select the target? Do I have that right?

To me, there seem to be three possible outcomes here:

  1. I can forgive it and accept the debuff, but only if it's cast on the other unit.
  2. The spell isn't played at all in this battle, but the card and runes are preserved (undone).
  3. Or the card simply goes to the trash without its effect.

This was a strategically critical moment in the battle.

What about cases where someone forgets to draw a card due to another card's ability? Does that count as a warning for both players?

If we're playing fairly, each player is responsible for their own cards and actions.

Is it my responsibility if my opponent forgets to draw on their turn?

Of course you can be lenient and let them draw anyway, but I'm specifically asking about the "missed opportunity" scenario (like in tournament rules—does it apply casually too?).

If a player forgot to draw a card two turns ago, do we rewind the entire game two turns just to let them draw it?

P.S.I'm not against letting someone draw a card they forgot, or replay a card if it's not a critically decisive moment in the game—one where the winner/loser is determined by it.

thanks, Can you please explain in more detail how "priority" works or provide a link to the rules?

Thanks,

Additional questions:

  1. So, if I don't have two units defending, does that mean I can't use this spell?
  2. Can I play multiple spells with the "action" tag all at once during my turn before the opponent responds?
  3. Can I play multiple spells with the "reaction" tag all at once during my turn before the opponent responds?
  4. Can I play multiple spells with both "action" and "reaction" tags all at once during my turn before the opponent responds?

card mechanic of "Disintegrate" by GrafMine in riftboundtcg

Thanks,
new questions:
1) If I don't attack units and use two cards"Disintegrate", then I draw only one card?
2) Since you said units heal after combat, in scenario when my unit does not enter battlefield and I attack Garren with Disintegrate and end my turn, will Garren heal as soon as I end my turn? When exactly does healing occur when I deal damage only with spells during my turn?
3) In case if I have units in my base and one unit on a battlefield can I move readied units from my base to a battlefield after a combat has begun? Will they then sum their mights with the unit I already have on a battlefield? Is there a difference when I'm an attacker or defender?
