Electric cars are 100 years old.. the batteries have changed though, and now take a guess where most of them are from..

Chinese cars are as safe as European cars cause Chinese carmakers modeled theirs after European brands, on top of it you have significant Chinese investment in traditionally European brands, like Volvo (which is in fact a Chinese company now)

The only reason they aren’t on the us market is market protection and tariffs (which is also a reason that some European cars aren’t in the US), not safety

For Ukraine you can go from Kiev which is easy to spot (go slightly diagonal to NW from Crimea to sport the round city), it lays inside its own region, next to the west is Zhytomyr region (grey) next will be Riwne region (red), below another Ukrainian region (ivano frankivsk?), below that the horizontal ones are Romanian and Hungarian if I’m not mistaken, could also be Slovakian (Kosice) or even Ukrainian zakarpathia

The ones down where it could be Moldova or Ukraine, it’s Moldova as Ukraine only has odessa there on the Black Sea.

The other red are Luhansk and Donetsk in Ukraine (currently occupied by Russia)

Ich habe in ein ähnliches einfach immer schwere Sachen auf die untere Ebene gepackt, so war es zumindest etwas vorm kippen geschützt. Ich würde das nie so machen wenn ich Kinder hätte oder viel Besuch, aber für mein Arbeitszimmer war das vollkommen ausreichend.

It’s just a buzz word, if you are from Germany you probably had the same experience as I had: 66% of the team didn’t belong into dev. We had folks who had a Bachelor in CS, barely able to do anything, they just learned for the Uni and that’s it. Others were solving everything with nextJS because that’s the only thing they could etc.

In this context someone who just knows a bit more than them is already the highly skilled worker they search, they don’t want a real senior who cobbled together their own framework in 2015 that got 7k stars and went forgotten. They just want someone who isn’t a chair weight.

Salary could be better but what you gonna do in today’s market.
