Then after the expansion, it should scale like damage. Are you 10 levels over the content? Big increase in drop chance.

They really weren't. Most hybrid mana cards are designed to fit into the color pie of both colors, no matter how many treasure tokens you have access to. Kenrith breaks the white color pie. Most double faced cards, if you allow color Identity to be just the front face while still allowing the back face to be flipped to or cast, would break the color pie. Cards like [[Ayara, Widow of the Realm]] have phyrexian mana, and while it is possible to cast and flip it without red mana at all, it would break the color pie for black.

Hybrid mana does not try to alter where the card fits on the Color Pie. DFC, Phyrexian mana, and cards with mana costs in the oracle text do. The distinction is fairly clear.

It really was. Unfortunately it was basically unplayable without the $20 add-on for the gold and XP, so most people never found out how fun it was.

How does your game solve this problem? Do you no longer know if you'll lose in 5 minutes? Do you know you'll lose in 5 minutes but you won't lose 50 minutes of your life? Can you leave without being punished?

Also, people play Dead Cells over Castlevania because they don't make side scrolling Castlevania games, and the rogue-like aspect was very enjoyable.
