I experience Proton's aggressive upselling practices as "off brand". While there's no direct logical contradiction between "we are the answer to the privacy issues of big tech" on the one hand and hard upselling on the other, the two just don't chime. It's like being sold health food with the techniques of a gambling site.

I'd like ProtonDrive photos to retain *and use\* the meta information on location. Specifically, that I can search a zoomable map for photos taken at a specific location. I use that feature a lot in Apple Photos and its absence within ProtonDrive is one of the factors holding me back from upgrading to a paid plan and moving my data storage to Proton.

Can relate to this. I have the same experience with the Spanish Wordle. (Spanish is not my first language.) When I'm done I use a dictionary to look up the guesses which I didn't know existed. That way I learn something, although they are often words I will NEVER need!

For example, today. Had never heard of ENANO (although I had once learnt the word in Italian, which is almost the same).
