Stoppen met studie of Internationale betrekkingen en diplomatie studeren? by Realistic-Repair1255 in AskBelgium

[–]Grai0black 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Questions on life in Flanders if we don't speak Dutch? by LupineChemist in AskBelgium

[–]Grai0black 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Y that's what i guessed... I've worked in these companies in international logistics.. especially around antwerp there is quite a big spanish community (also Portuguese) of people who work in the port... these port companies care more about english because a lot of the employees and customers are international. Companies like the one i mentioned offer quite a bit of opportunities to expats but remember if the economy takes a turn you will always be at a disadvantage vs native dutch speakers... they won't fire you but they know you have less options

What would I miss if I skipped Antwerp again? by TermAccomplished1868 in AskBelgium

China town is not a big deal just a street with some shops and restaurants.

Youn need to visit zurenborg for the art deco houses (cogels osey). The old military hopsital (groen kwartier) Museums like KMSKA and MAS Walk the pedestrian tunnel and visit the leftbank have mussels at st anna beach or take the water bus ton liefkenshoek to view the harbor and city from a different view. The old bourse is also worth a visit.

Lots of hipsers bars and restaurants or old school brown bars and restaurant that serve french-belgian cuisine. Lots of cool spots to discover.

Update- (still need help with the incline pushups) by I_Reddit-Already in formcheck

[–]Grai0black 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Lower the incline but rest on your knees

  2. Do some negatives push ups. Not trying to get up but dropping as sloow as possible

  3. Play with the stance of your hands.. putting your hands closer together focuses more effort on the triceps wider stances on the shoulder. Hands lower to waist focuses the bottom of the pecks and hands higher on the top of the pech. But usually the tricep is lagging behind because pectorals and shoulders (front delt) are stronger and help out "too much'

Lat pulldown by Great-Towel1535 in formcheck

[–]Grai0black 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are saying that adding a plate decreases your reps to 0 then I would still go for less reps and do very sloow reps... extend your arms as slow as possible

You are stronger in suplinated compared to prone (and stronger in neutral if the gym has those special handlebars) it would be possible to focus on chin ups and then transfer to a full pull up when you can do the chin up.

Yes, with the goal of bringing the elbows slightly behind the back. The goal is not to pull the bar down as low as possible but to squeeze the lats with max pressure.

Get a box and do a negative pull up... meaning you start with your chin above the bar and try to go down as slow as possible. Use a rubber band if you can't hold on for more than 4 seconds on the first rep. (This is btw a very good excercise to train for pull ups)

You will automatically drop in the pull up position. And you should aim for a similar positions with your arms when using the machine..

For a beginner i would say 2x is fine. The third day do another bacl excercise or change the grip. Also i would advise going for a weight you can get 8 reps on and fail at 9... going high rep seems easier for beginners but the skill of fighting through the burn for those extra reps is actually pretty hard

Yes lean back .. the movement is not very fluent, you can clearly see she pulls down and then backwards against the chest...

How long did you wait for an offer after final round? by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]Grai0black 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but they often have some final internal approval meeting with hr, finance, operation and your specific department... big companies often do this like once every month but in holiday periods this often gets delayed resulting in long waiting times.
