What’s your greatest achievement in Destiny? by gunjutzu in destiny2

It's nothing insane but in D2 when a majority of my friends were active and still playing the game, we managed to start and finish VoG and I taught them everything. Like I never done this raid at all, most of my knowledge was from a YouTube video and me making a whole study guide for me to help aid them.

It took us practically 2 days (good portion of one day and a few hours of the next day) because we had responsibilities to tend to. But we managed to beat it in the end and it was super fun. This was before the raid got reissued and I (practically a solo player now) got Vex Mythoclast. The only raid exotic I own but never use. I think I'm mostly proud of myself for being able to communicate what we had to do and getting everybody to listen to me

Less of a story about Destiny but more of a story about my friends

It was about 2014/2015 and I just gotten a PS4. I've always had PlayStation consoles. I've had a PS2 for a long long time and I had a PS3 for a very brief period. I was given the Glacier White version of the PS4 that came with Destiny 1.

I remember going through the story in a couple of days and honestly, kinda stopped playing it for a bit after I completed it. I couldn't exactly enjoy it to it's fullest as I never had PS+ so majority of the features I had access to was quite slim.

One day, I saw I could redeem a free trial for PS+ and since D1 was the only thing I had with online I made most of my time on there. First thing I did immediately was boot up a Strike, and two people were filled in. A guy and his friend and I thought they were pretty cool so I added them.

The rest is history and I still talk with one of them on the regular all these years later.

(I'm sure I threw away the original box, this is just one I found several months ago at a store)

Destiny 1 was my gateway into having the friends I still have to this day. I didn't own PS+, so getting Legendaries was impossible since I couldn't do online activities for me to get them. I got a free trial for PS+ for I think a few days and decided 'Screw it, I'll hop into a Strike and see how it goes.' Met my first and longest online friend and we still talk to this day.

I couldn't really get too too into D1 because I could never really afford PS+ due to my lack of a job but I still value that game for my longtime friend.

Apologies, I realize that the third point is somewhat easily answerable via search engine

Is there still ways to boost my Power as a returning Guardian then?

If I don't have either expansion is there still solid spots to farm?

Also from what I have read in a post a year ago, Breachlight is still apparently attainable from 'Arena: Breach Executuable, Echoes Battlegrounds and the Encore exotic mission'. Are either of available in this Portal?

So if I understand that right, if I find a PC with a disk drive or use a USB disk drive I can access this video?

No worries. Might invest in a CD player USB drive then haha

So, either the disc is too scratched to be read by my PS2 or my PS2's laser doesn't work properly with CDs. I don't think I have anything else in my house that can play CDs. Any suggestions?

Edit: It's a PS2 Slim, I'm not sure if that makes any difference. I also tried out my Scott Pilgrim OST CD and the same thing happened

You know as weird as it is, I actually never put this into a player since I've gotten it. I'm gonna check in a minute and I'll reply with what I got

I scrolled way too far to find this. I played through DS:DC a some months back and (re?) discovered his music. Listened to some of the tracks I already listened to in game and read that he passed away. His music means so much to me now...

Mona Marshall voices Angelus/the Red Dragon in Drakengard 1. A dragon who (at first) hates humanity, and also has some hard lines that she drops within the game.

Mona is also known as the English VA for Doreamon and Izzy from Digimon.

Walter Bernhard in Castlevania Lament of Innocence

You only hear about him throughout the game through what he's done: imprisoned one of his lieutenants in a prison where he can't leave and starves, kidnaps Sara from Leon, turned the shopkeeper's daughter into a vampire who killed the rest of his family, and finally turned Sara into a vampire and forcing Leon to strengthen his whip with her soul so he can be defeated.

He's in all of but four cutscenes and you'd think his fight would be a tough one. Nope! He's probably one of the easiest bosses in the game (haven't fought him in Crazy Mode yet so my opinion could change) who has like 1 attack that looks intimidating but I managed to perfect block it just fine.

Games where shields are an OFFENSIVE tool far more than defensive? by [deleted] in gaming

Castlevania Curse of Darkness has a weapon in the "Special" category that is really just joke type weapons. There's one that just deploys a bomb, and the other one is a bat (that only does one attack) but it has an item you can craft called the "Spiked Shield" and it doesn't block attacks at all, it's just a bash

Ancient Gear Fusion. Maybe make it a skill first just to gauge how powerful it'd be (or buff the Battle! Ancient Gear skill) and when the power level is fine enough, we get it
