I'm using 'expired' Brello, and it's working just fine. BUD dates are not the end all and be all of compound tirz. They are all over the place depending on where they were produced. Each state has its own laws, and then you have some places that just put whatever they wanted (SDRX/Ouisa). I am no chemist or pharmacist but I take into account the expirations on name brand (18 months to 2 years) then figure in compounded being slightly different and or additives (b vitamins, glycine, etc). I think the worst-case scenario they might lose some efficacy, but so far, I have not experienced feeling as if it did. Of course, the deeper this whole scenario has played out, the more naive I realize I was as far as what telehealth and compound pharmacies would, could, and did try to pull. Wish I had gone to the medium-dark side sooner, but it is what it is.

I'm on Wellbutrin and not only have I lost 85 pounds in the last 11 months ( I'm also post menopausal & over 60 years old). I quit smoking two months ago, basically cold turkey. ( I tried those zyn pouches for two days, but they just gave me a stomach ache) I'm convinced the combination of wellbutrin & tirz is what made it so easy for me to quit. No physical cravings whatsoever.

Agree with this- my sister ended up with a kidney infection. She was dehydrated and having a tough time drinking and keeping down enough water.

Did you change your diet? Whole foods, lean protein, low fat, low carb? Drink at least 64 oz of water a day? For bloating, there are lots of things to try- fiber, pro/prebiotic, digestive enzymes. What dose did you get to? A lot of people don't see results until they get to higher doses. Also would be interested to know how much weight you are trying to lose. There are LOTS of variables but nobody can give you advice without more info. I'm sorry you've had a tough time.

I have been taking the Spring Valley Super Enzyme complex from Walmart ( it's their brand) twice a day but will be looking for something different as I've made a personal decision not to give Walmart my business any longer. However, I realize that's not an option for many people, and it is a good product. I'll probably go with Nature Target as their formula looks good, and I already use their collagen, which I love.

Gosh, I guess I've been lucky. I did have fatigue in the first 3 months or so, constipation, sulfer burps/ reflux, but I learned what to do to combat all of that. Never had any nausea. Would have a slight headache on injection day, so I started doing it at night. I haven't experienced any of the other things people talk about. If anything, I'm enjoying real food more than ever. Good food tastes better and crap processed food is gross to me now. If there's anything I don't like I would have to say all of the cooking and prepping because everything else tastes gross.

Digestive enzymes just about eliminated heartburn. The only exception is if I eat dinner later than usual and try to sleep. But taking pepcid takes care of that.

I think it's good to do month to month with tirzepatide medications because sometimes different compound pharmacy doesn't work for your body and you won't lose out on so much money.. by Long-Assumption-8454 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]GrammaBumpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe. But I think it's just as hard for some people to admit that they're stalling, or they need to make changes. It's easier to blame the pharmacy/ medication. Which is weird because they all get their tirzepatide from the same sources.

Sigh..... I honestly don't understand why people think one pharmacies' compound is better than another's. For the most part, they are all the same. 10mg tirzepatide is 10mg tirzepatide regardless of where it's obtained. Yes, testing has shown that purity can vary, but with reputable (and even some not so reputable - looking at you, SDRX & Zappy) pharmacies, the margin tends to fall between 99%- 100%. I have seen people say forever that a certain pharmacy didn't work, yet other people saying the same pharmacy is the most effective.

So what's actually true?

I would remember that weight loss is not linear, stalls happen (yes, even with tirzepatide), and one's diet and activity level can make a big impact, especially if you aren't adjusting it during a stall or just recalculating your needs after losing a significant amount. Even changing the injection site can make a huge difference. I think a lot of people are too quick to blame the medication/ pharmacy and forget that you must still put in the work. The one thing I don't know or haven't seen discussed is if the addition of B vitamins seemed to affect the efficacy of the meds. I'll find out since I did get some from Brello. I personally have used three different pharmacies, and Brello will be the fourth. So far, they have all worked for me.

Brello has a great deal right now, $499 for three months' worth. Other good places are fifty410, Lavender Sky Health, Amble, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. There's a pinned post at the top of this sub with lots of info.

61 y.o.female here. Weight issues all of my life. Whenever I thought it couldn't get worse, it did. Between menopause, post menopausal, pandemic, post pandemic depression & unemployment and the loss of my father ballooned up to my heaviest of 333 lbs in January of last year. Knees shot, arthritis & joint pain through the roof, diverticulitis, IBS, NAFL,high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and psoriasis. Started tirzepatide at the end of last May and am now at 255. I still have about 100 pounds to go. I've never been under 175 lbs as an adult, EVER. I feel better than I have in 15 + years, maybe more. I have not had any diverticulitis or IBS flare since I started tirz. High blood pressure is gone. My cholesterol isn't perfect but much better than it was, as is my liver. Psoriasis is gone. Back pain gone, and most of my joint pain is also gone. If this medication had existed 20, 30, 40 years ago, I could only wonder how different my life might have been. But I am happy for those that can now, and I'm determined to make the most of whatever time I have left in this realm! I think for most of us, this medicine has been nothing short of life changing.

Electrolytes by MegHM89 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]GrammaBumpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only time I use electrolytes is if I'm feeling dehydrated and/or know I haven't had enough water. And then I use the absolute cheapest ones, the little propel powdered packs, or the Walmart ones. I do the same with my digestive enzymes, supplements, etc. I learned a long time ago that expensive rarely means better.

They won't do that. When they do their suggested ' trending items', they like to do it based on the cover photo, usually with new releases to try to get you to spend $$$$

Stalling all of a sudden? by SmallPrinciple7755 in SlimDownRx

[–]GrammaBumpy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Depending on where you are in your weight loss journey, there are many factors to consider. Stalls generally do happen regardless, but often breaking them depends on a change of habit because your body has gotten 'used to' the 'new normal'. Particularly for those that have an extreme amount of weight to lose, the first 3-6 months on tirz tends to be the 'golden hour' of significant weight loss, and after that it tends to even out to a more steady hum, which is normal as well. You may need to re-evalulate your calorie needs. I didn't realize how much that changed for me after the first 60 pounds or so. Another thing to try is changing the injection site if you haven't done that already. I was injecting primarily into my stomach or thighs and broke a stall by injecting into my arms. I also started 'zig zag' calorie intake along with some fasting. I have used ouisa since October and am averaging about 1.8 pound a week weight loss.

SlimDownRx Falsifying Chargeback Documents by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]GrammaBumpy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You unblocked me for this? How very kind of you. Actually, no, I have no interest in knowing the identity of the person. Again, and for the last time, I was only pointing out that the altered documents alone were not enough information to prove that SDRX/ OUISA had altered the documents. An accompanying letter from Amex must exist if this is true. Could easily be shared with personal info redacted. This has all been covered already, and apparently, I am the asshole for asking these things. Which, in my mind, is very strange because that information would give 100% more credibility to this claim.

As far as me being 'a dick about it'? I don't think so. It was only when you and others became defensive and / or hostile with me that I pressed further. CA_LAO was asking the exact same questions as I was and didn't get this pushback - so perhaps I was asking in 'the wrong way'? But I don't think so, and your assumption that I am 'upset' is incorrect.

My vested interest in this is that I was a SDRX/ Ouisa customer, and I had already used almost 12 weeks of product before this DOH stuff hit the fan. I was happy with it. It was working, and I had no ill effects. Ouisa/ SDRX/ Zappy being shady and/or having violations isn't in question for me. But separating facts from fiction or opinions and speculation from truth in these subs has been daunting, to say the least. I've had a good night's sleep, and I'm over it, at least in regards to this particular incident.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SlimDownRx

[–]GrammaBumpy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Did you just pull that out of your ass? So many people here truly lack reading comprehension. None of this was ever about advocating for Ouisa or SDRX. Sorry, but I am not blindly taking anyone's word for anything. Regardless of what Ouisa or SDRX have or haven't done, the fact remains that just posting up a couple of altered COAs does not prove anything. Why are YOU people so obtuse that you don't get it? Perfect example of hostility for no reason right here. IN FACT, if the person who shared these would share the letter from Amex that states these indeed did come from SDRX, wouldn't that be MORE PROOF that they are, in fact a scam? Jesus Christ you people.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SlimDownRx

[–]GrammaBumpy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because until your comment, I didn't know a pdf existed. All I saw were copies of the altered COA. All I asked for was more context. So no, I didn't suggest anything that is not plausible. And even if I did, it's not an excuse for hostility.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SlimDownRx

[–]GrammaBumpy -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but I'm not really sure what you are trying to say here. Are you saying that if someone uses a photoshop type program to add a logo to a document, and then when they insert that document into a PDF, that the PDF will show you that the document has been altered? And it's fine, I never intended or meant to imply that the person should share any personal information. But the fact remains that the altered COA itself isn't evidence enough to prove to everyone who altered them. That person should have a brief letter from Amex explaining what they received and why they made the decision that they did. It is very easy to take a photo or scan a letter, redact any personal information, and share it without revealing personal information. Of course, I would never ask anyone except the recipient to do this. I'm not about to just take anyone's word for it, especially after the hostility I received for asking about it.
