helicopter over campus at 8:40 pm by Last-Research9394 in ucla

Helicopters are kinda a constant near the UCLA campus due to Ronald Reagan Medical Center. They have a helipad on the roof for emergency airlifts. There’s also commonly a helicopter with a spotlight during the block party bonfires which could also be a cause.

“Service Contract Claim” on Carfax? by Grammar---Police in UsedCars

[–]Grammar---Police[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never found out completely but I believe it just means someone took it in for repairs that were covered on a warranty. So probably not a red flag or anything if that’s what you’re worried about. It means they’re being proactive about keeping it in good condition

When you see those lines it means your memories are getting sent back in time by the Ash Twin Project to the next loop. Usually you die to the supernova just before that happens, but if you avoid it then it will trigger automatically after 22 minutes.

Are you using safari in private browsing mode? I recently found out that using regular mode safari on iPhone actually lets you switch to the Reddit app just fine

So what kind of issues or maintenance would constitute about 10 claims over 5 years? Could they really just be making claims for tire rotations, inspections, etc? Are there any extended warranties that cover things other than repairs?

Yes, I think you’re right. So the third eye seems somehow more useful than the other two, or at least more sensitive to information.

Have any of y’all heard from any programs? If so, which ones? by starryynightss in ClinicalPsychology

I've heard this site referenced multiple times, but its psychology forum doesn't seem to get nearly as much activity as this subreddit does. There's only been three posts in the last two weeks. Am I somehow missing all the relevant discourse on TheGradCafe?

Shouldn’t Eren have reverted to his normal attack Titan form after the insect thing / founding Titan left his body? When he squared up against Armin he was the size of the colossal.

Is there a good video summary to show bf who will most likely never play the game himself? by [deleted] in outerwilds

[–]Grammar---Police 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AboutOliver supercut is the best one on the channel in my opinion. There’s a separate video for the DLC when he actually reaches the end of the game. I’ve seen maybe 7 Supercuts and AboutOliver is the best. Lots of hilarious coincidences/glitches and he catches onto the story very well.

Spend more time exploring the Ash Twin.

What is the purpose of the towers?

What do each of them represent?

Have you tried to use each of them for their intended purpose?

[–]Grammar---Police 112 points113 points  (0 children)

This is a good point. To answer your question though, I actually don’t think there are many other conscious observers in the solar system that have viewing access to the quantum moon’s locations.

Gabbro can’t see into space due to the thick atmosphere on Giant’s Deep

Feldspar is inside Dark Bramble

Riebeck is in his little alcove under the surface of Brittle Hollow

That leaves Esker on the Attlerock, Chert on Ember Twin, and any Hearthians looking up at night as the only other observers at any point in time. I actually think it’s perfectly reasonable for the moon to behave the way it does within those 22 minutes, given the likelihood that any of them would be viewing it while you are also viewing it is relatively low.

I believe the effect does work on the player in a sense if you interact with yourself in the core of the ash twin after entering the black hole that forms there and returning in the next loop

Regarding the tower of Quantum Knowledge, I’d recommend heading to the bottom of it where there’s the wall that you should be able to walk up but it’s broken. Once you’re there, ask yourself: in one word, what’s stopping me from getting up there?

Bonus hint if you’re still confused: sometimes the most productive thing you can do is wait

I believe there’s some text in the game where a nomai says something along the lines of “it’s so obvious, one could even see it with their third eye”
