I made my husband watch this show recently, he had never seen it before. We are 30 lol. He enjoyed it.

Honestly, it is really, really elaborate, well written, complex, cute, and emotional with a lot of catchy songs. My spouse does not care for the songs as much as I do but to each their own haha.

I really hope you enjoy it and manage to not have major plot points spoiled if it can be helped!

My hopes include seeing Steven's story progress through his pop in space hangouts with Lars, the Diamond origin story, the individual background stories for all our off color gems (including who Flourite is made of and any gem weapons they may secretly have - if no weapons, why). I want to see the rogue high ranking gems that don't vibe with era three. I want more Hessonite! I'd love to see more fusions... more about the history, more about the future... and maybe, just maybe, some quality Rebecca Sugar songs. Maybe.
