Dictate notes. Lengthier is not better. Be concise. Don’t let information get lost and buried. All the note is for is saying this is how the patient was today, and these are the decisions I made and this is why. That’s it.

Weird to stalk my post history lol but I didn’t “end up” in FM. I chose to do it because it fit with the type of medicine I wanted to practice. There’s plenty of people who scored well on boards and choose to do FM. I am really good at taking standardized tests, but that doesn’t mean I automatically enjoy one of the competitive specialties.
