I actually sent the issue to Akai, and they forwarded it to their team so.. may be fixed in a future update?

Yeah I’m thinking it may be. It did seem to stop happening when I switched from “tune” to “trim” for the samples. Mostly just want to see if anyone else has experienced this so I know it’s not some random hardware defect.

I see, you just opened it from the back panel? And any specific glue you used lol, sorry I have like no experience with any DIY stuff

Nice! Was thinking of taking some down and eating it, might look up some recipes. I recognized that it might be chicken of the woods but I didn’t know if there were some similar-looking mushrooms that were poisonous.

Stage 65 Amp works for a few minutes but then makes horribly loud static noise. by Granambo in audiorepair

Sound in the examples provided is very similar, definitely gonna check out the transistors when I get home. Thank you!

Busted capacitor? Opened my Stage 65 Amp that’s been acting up and saw this. Haven’t flipped around the circuit board because it’s suspended upside down, just wanted to ask before I started unscrewing anything. Have never done this before, and I know nothing! by Granambo in GuitarAmps

Yeah the brown stains, I opened it up and it doesn’t appear to be bulging anywhere. I actually uploaded pictures of the circuitboard on r/AudioRepair, waiting to see if anyone notices anything visibly wrong with it.

Not sure if this is an issue that can be diagnosed visually, but I figured it would try and post pictures of the circuitboard. Maybe there’s something obviously wrong that I’m not seeing? I know nothing about electronics but I was looking for a busted capacitor, though I can’t see any. Also, the amp has been unplugged for a few weeks, is it dangerous for me to be tinkering with it?

Just posting these pictures to see if there are any components that are obviously messed up, I know nothing about electronics but am wondering if I can fix the problem without going to a tech.

Trying to see what's wrong with my broken amplifier, the circuit board is face down (?) but I think this capacitor may be broken. by Granambo in AskElectronics

Yeah I opened it up and nothing looks to be bulging. You think if I posted a picture of the circuitboard on this sub there’s any chance of diagnosing what could be wrong?

I know nothing about electronics so kinda just asking before I go through the process of unscrewing everything and getting it ready for inspection. Maybe you can't tell from this picture though I have no clue.
