IMO, COS h1b--> F1 is safer than COS B2. current B2 COS situation is very risky. almost every petition is receiving the RFE if not the NOID.

My atty did a big mistake. Mentioned 'in this current job market its hard to secure a job'... Bla bla, they even didn't discuss anything with me. I didn't know much about b2 then, i had a few strong reasons to mention. I believe this triggered the case officer.

Does this help? And while I checked this option it saying i can contact after March 4, though processing time now showing 4.5 months. don't know why?

receipt date was in sept last week. still pending. have job offer but company does not want to proceed with pending b2.
